“During a routine exam for contacts Dr. Fitch found an indication of a possible tumor on my left retina and sent me to a specialist. I opted to go to Northwestern Medical in Chicago as I was already a patient there for an unrelated condition. Upon extensive testing Dr. Fitch's diagnosis was confirmed. Fortunately the tumor at the top of my left retina was benign but the specialists also found other tumors on the bottom of my eye which has to be monitored every 3 months for the next year to make sure they don't mutate into a rare eye cancer. I will be forever thankful for Dr. Fitch! Peoria is very fortunate to have such an outstanding doctor!“

“I took my kids and I to our appointments all at once. While one tech made my teenager comfortable enough to do the examines alone, another tech took my youngest and I together. The tech taking care of the two of us let my little one "help" with my initial examines so she wouldn't feel so nervous to do her own examines. I appreciate the patience and kindness they have for young children, especially since getting a puff of air in your eye can be really startling“

“In retrospect, I should have got to the eye doctor sooner, but since I waited, I decided to see an ophthalmologist, so I chose Bond Eye assoc because of the experience of Dr. Bond. What I didn’t expect was his referral to the retinal specialist, Dr. Roger Adler and the absolute miracle he performed with my eye. He took a very serious eye threat and literally made me see again! His knowledge and application were perfect - things that should be painful, were not, as he was so quick and precise. The Bond Eye staff were very professional and kind - a great combination. “The doctor took what was probably upwards of 30 minutes to see me, and while I wish I could say it was because of a young patient that was having trouble, he also took twenty minutes or so to send off the information needed for my glasses (though it could be a machine error, he said he was going to check my old prescription.) I will give him the benefit of doubt. However the lady who helped me choose my glasses was exceptional (I believe her name was Alissa?). Made the experience fun, personalized, and easy. Easy to talk with, communicate with, good understanding of my wants and willing to work with my preferences. She even helped find some more options close to what I wanted from the drawers and back when I said I wanted more options and while we waited. Great employee and a good person- you guys hire right! My glasses came in a week later like they said they would and they helped me adjust them when I said they didn't quite fit or look right. Overall, 4/5 stars and would recommend Alissa to anyone.“

“Went in for my routine eye exam with Dr. Jennifer Wilson. I've had a "speckle" inside my right eye for many years. Dr. Wilson became very concerned because the speckle had changed color and size. Her concern was that it had possibly become an Ocular Melanoma. She fast tracked me to the University of Iowa Hospital Ophthalmology Department. After many tests at the U of I, the Ocular Oncologist concern had dropped considerably. The two doctors I saw at the University of Iowa praised Dr. Jennifer Wilson highly, the fantastic job she did catching the change in my eye. I go back to the U of I in 4 months for a recheck just to make sure nothing has changed. I appreciate Dr. Jennifer looking out for me, she's a wonderful doctor who cares for her patients.P.S. - this entire process between Dr. Jennifer and the University of Iowa all happened in a week! What an amazing job!Thanks Dr. Jennifer!“
