I was an out of state walk in at 7pm. Willy took me in and got the right size set for my Bulls logo. He was very professional, very cool guy who had some amazing artwork on his body. Ih am extremely happy with the way my tattoo came out. If I could give High Class Studio a 10 out of 10 I would. I will be back in Chicago. Same time next year. “My husband and I came here a couple of weeks ago and saw Jackie (@tattoojax on Instagram). We had such a great experience! Smart Ink is on the second floor of a strip mall, and it could be hard to find if you are not looking for it. It is also a bit confusing since it's on the second floor, but the stairs are connected to the cemented wall underneath the second-floor dentist sign. The first thing I noticed when walking into the tattoo studio was how clean and bright it was. Everything is sanitary, and no matter which tattoo artist you see, everyone is nice and will greet you when they see you. There is also a nice artsy vibe to the studio; the walls are filled with handmade art, and every artist's tattoo area has its own personality and aesthetic shining through. I love that everyone can create their own creative area because it makes the studio feel much more inviting. Sometimes, tattoo studios feel very cookie-cutter and edgy, but this place is different in a good way. My husband and I both got tattoos from Jackie, and she did an amazing job. She met with us on the front couches to make sure her final sketches worked with us. I wanted to change a part of mine, and she made the changes on her iPad in front of me before printing it out. Then, she wanted to make sure the placement and size worked with me before we started. Yes, these are basic tattoo artist jobs, but you'd be surprised how many tattoo artists skip steps. I got my tattoos before my husband did, but she took her time on both of us. She was extremely professional and made the experience enjoyable by being personable and talkative. The tattoos look AMAZING and are exactly what we wanted. We gave her some artistic freedom with colors and/or designs, and she did not make us regret it. We will 100% be back at this tattoo studio, and we will be sticking with Jackie for all of our tattoo needs and wants =)“

He is well worth the wait and you will definitely be satisfied with the results.

I have been working with Kurt for about 7years now and all the masterpieces he has created for me have definitely turned heads.

I recently got to spend a wonderful three days in Arizona at the Gila tattoo convention with Kurt. Here he created this amazing chest and neck piece for me. I provided him an idea and he spent endless hours or possibly days creating what ended up being a beautiful piece of art. We received nothing but compliments and praise during the convention which ended up paying off. We collect three first place trophies for best chest, best XL black/gray, and best front/back.

This was definitely an experience of a lifetime and will be doing it again.

Kurt is not only a great artist but a fantastic human being. This shows in his work, philosophy of life, and his dedication to his family.

“I highly recommend you get your piercings done here and with Alexandra. She is a perfectionist and that is an awesome quality to have as a piercer. Piercings are not cheap, so it’s so nice to know that my piercer takes each piercing seriously and does excellent work each time. Alexandra used a special sterilized tool to measure and make sure my piercings were even and had equal spacing. She took her time and explained the full process. She did NOT eyeball anything and she was so clean…I mean so very clean. She used gloves and changed them as needed throughout the process. She also rests you flat, uses bright lights on the area to be pierced, has a huge mirror where you can check that you like the placement and makes you feel so comfortable from beginning to end. Alexandra practiced breathing with me prior to each piercing and this is why I think that the pain was minimal, even the cartilage piercing. Please tip well, as I have been to other “professional” piercers and they don’t do 25% of what Alexandra did. By the way, the 3 piercings I had done were the cheapest I have spent on piercings. All three were $35 total for the work and with the jewelry, everything cost $189. It’s a steal! In the photos below you will see that the studs are all the piercings I got that day (third hole bilateral lobes and one helix). I will 100% be back to see Alexandra for a hidden helix and I can’t wait!“
