This is my first experience with tattoos and I'm so grateful for finding Yilin Zhu and Art Spirit Tattoo. Yilin is an incredible artist. He took a concept that I had, said let's make this cooler, and worked so diligently to make an incredible piece of art. He was receptive to my ideas and feedback, guided me to make the right choices even when I had thought I wanted something different (the juniper was spot on), and was open to making changes on the design even after the consultation. He flexed his schedule to get me in so I could heal a little before returning to work. He is precise, detailed, patient, creative, attentive... the list goes on. I entered Art Spirit Tattoo with little more than an idea, the first time I met Yilin. We sat for a little over an hour constructing and discussing what styles worked and what I wanted my tattoo to portray. Over 3 sessions, Yilin was very professional, sanitary, punctual and attentive to my needs as a client. Yilin truly displays what it is to be an Artist and that in itself shows through his work. Art Spirit Tattoo is a wonderful shop with friendly staff and an upbeat vibe. I personally will be contacting Art Spirit in the future for any other projects I might want done.
