“Our water heater suddenly went out and we needed a licensed professional for a diagnosis and replacement under our home warranty. Our home warranty recommended someone who was unavailable for at least a week. Koehne was recommended by a friend and we were fortunate to get someone in the next morning between 8-8:30 am. Mark was here before 8:30! He was VERY polite and informative! He was also very mindful of our carpets surrounding the closet in which the heater is located (in our living room above our crawl space). He made sure to avoid letting any excess water get onto the carpet and I also noticed he took the towel we had put in to soak leaking water last night and cleaned up the tile floor in our entryway after taking the old water heater out!! When I had to take my dogs out he was calm and caused no alarm for either dog (but especially the one that has more issues with strangers (more specifically men)). “Top-notch. Edwardsville's Plumbing has done routine (drain water heater) and large jobs (replace water heater) for us. Always professional, clearly communicating schedule and price estimate, and quality work. Post-Covid, when it was really hard to find repairmen at all, I mentioned to Jeff my frustration at not being able to find an electrician to replace all the baseboard heaters in the house (one of them already broken, the rest just old). He said, "I can do that!" He measured the existing heaters, showed me some options for replacements, and ordered what we picked from a Canadian company. The ordering and delivery proved difficult (we were still seeing lots of supply chain and transportation issues all over the country) and Jeff stayed on top of the whole process, keeping us informed of delays, working out issues with the shipper. When the heaters finally arrived, Jeff and his team installed them in a morning, and hauled the old ones away. As usual, the work itself was expert. Billing for the work was exactly per the estimate.
