“I love this studio! I’ve been to many yoga studios all over the city, and still prefer classes here to all the others. Their instructors are knowledgable, prepared, and offer variations as well as correction (as needed) so you don’t accidentally push yourself too far / get hurt. The classes are also consistently great - I haven’t been disappointed by any of their classes. In addition, the studio is clean and has great amenities (e.g., water, towels, locks on their lockers, etc.).“
“I love this place so much. I’ve been going since January 2024 and have tried many of the classes, but especially enjoy the Ashtanga and Rocket vinyasa classes. Because there are so many classes available, it’s always been easy to fit with my busy schedule. Alisa, Shelly, and Beth, who teach the ashtanga classes I take are incredibly knowledgeable on the style. Colleen’s Rocket vinyasa class on Saturday is insanely good. Each time I go I learn a huge amount and see marked improvements in my form and flexibility in a way that is very gratifying. Finding this place has changed my life and I’m so grateful to the studio for welcoming me with warm arms and teaching me how to get closer to my goals in yoga. “Great experience.... I attended the Uptown wellness festival. I had trouble getting the ticket and Cindy went out of her way to assist me. I thought at first that a day long event would be something I just visited for a time, until I arrived. The venue was great, having the ticket that included a food credit gave me the opportunity to try out the different vendors. The program was well organized and informative. Presenters were fun and on schedule. I enjoyed meeting the vendors, participants and learned many new things. As you stressed, yamas are the moral guidelines of yoga. The yamas represent a series of "right living" or ethical rules within Yoga philosophy. Their practice influences our relationships with others and with ourself. I particularly was interested in learning more about Aparigraha. the last Yama in Pantanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga. The term translates to "non-greed" or "non-possessiveness". The virtue of Aparigraha helps us learn to take what is necessary and to take no more than is needed.
