Judgmental, pushy, and overbearing. Not a good experience for me or my kids. My teen said it is so awkward and uncomfortable every time we had an appointment. If you do not do as she says for every medical advise, she becomes condescending, defense, and rude. I knew then it was time to find a new doctor. Dreading getting the medical records.
Dr. Segall is an outstanding physician, in addition to being highly experienced and knowledgeable, she is kind, sincere and always easy to work with. Our children especially like her. Her staff is responsive, polite and well organized. Also a plus that she is able to converse with our children in Spanish, English and Hebrew.
I had a sick child and saw several other MD in different networks to figure out what was going on with my son. I absolutely do not like MD that only speak to me and pretty much ignorer my child. My child saw many MD's from ages 8yrs-13yrs old to figure out what was going on with him. When I interviewed with MD Segall to makes sure she was a good fit, I was impressed. She meet with me and my son at the end of her day to give us plenty of time for us so we did not feel rushed. I really like how she spoke to me, but most importantly how she spoke to my 13 yrs old child at the time. Long story short his now 18 yrs old and couldn't be more happy to see my child healthy and happy all due to her. She was able to figure out my sons chronic problem all by actually talking to my son and asking him questions in a way a child can understand and not be scared. I am in the medical field and her being a private practice, it seems to me she doesn't have a quota of patients she needs to see, she may be 10min late with an appt but have not experienced more that that, you can always feel when she is assessing your child she is actually assessing your child not only asking the parent.
