The Porch People's work is fantastic and our Association is so pleased! The crew's performed quick work, yet still done with great attention to detail. We really appreciate the thoughtfulness and expertise in getting our porch structure up to current City codes. The process of working with The Porch People was wonderful and very professional. Warning this 'company' also goes by the names Forum Group, Inc. on North Halsted, and Complete Home Improvement on Wells Street, or Peter Maneyski Construction. Having many aliases should have been the giveaway. e.g.: Diana T.'s review (above) describes our very similar experience, and I only write here since it seems using the City and the Courts has no positive effect upon the practices of The Porch People. I would add that rather than say "unethical business practices", I would say complete liars. I think I am most upset by the owner being such a bad liar, and that he strung me along for a year without reimbursing us for the deposit. And by... read full review
