My daughter has been dancing here since 2005 amd each one of the teachers are amazing. The classes are intimate allowing for great teacher instruction and always building of abilities for each individual dancer. We are so glad to be part of the Chicago Ballet Center and recommend them fully.

Nestled up on the 4th floor of 4041 N Milwaukee Ave is the Chicago Ballet Center. We are thrilled to have found this unassuming, yet serious dance school and community of dancers. My daughter had no problem switching over for tap and ballet. The education is based on the Cuban/Alonso Method and really focuses on dancers using their bodies athletically with balance and minimum harm. The parents have been welcoming, unlike our last school where no one spoke or smiled. Finally, there are two programs a year, and the costuming is included in the fees. My daughter has been coming the the CBC for a few years now and loves going to class each week. She has grown and learned so much about about how to properly use her whole body for dance. I love that the teachers have a positive approach and truly care about each child's progress. The price is reasonable and the class sizes are small so it's a great investment in quality dance instruction!
