Scott and Team Newman were awesome! I reached out via Redfin and got a response from Scott immediately. Scott connected me to team Buttler for my pre approval letter the same week. I got my letter in a day and started my search. Everything moved rather quickly and Scott was with me every step of the way. I just closed on my first home last week. Team Newman was so responsive, professional, down to earth, and overall wonderful people! I would recommend them to any and everyone!
Iām not sure where to start and what to say about Scott and Michelle that hasn't already been said. This is our 4th transaction with them and we refuse to work with anyone else. There are multiple reasons I mention this - From start to finish they ensured that one of them was always available 24x7 (Email/text exchanges as late as 10PM on any given night or as early as 7AM in the mornings were not uncommon). They are truly great and work together as a team in a way that when either one has to be at a conference or is traveling for work, the transition to the other is so seamless that we never at any point felt like we were out on the skinny branches. Many times during the process they bounce ideas off of each other and lastly a testament in to their great leadership qualities - they have built a team of people that are totally fungible and can pickup seamlessly at any point when one of their team mates is in a pinch. Working with them has always far exceeded who I had hoped would be my partner(s). In the end the biggest victory for my wife and I from our first transaction is we walked in to buy our home and walked out with 2 incredible friends!
Working with the Newman team was awesome. His first priority was to have multiple conversations with me about what my ideal situation was. Digging in deep to figure out exactly what was best for me. There was no pressure throughout which made it nice. I was hoping to find the best option for an investment property, Scott recommended a 203K FHA loan for a multi-unit, which I had heard about and the more he taught me about it the more it made sense. He also has done 203ks himself which is rare to find as it turns out! Not only did he help me find an amazing fixer-upper but the Newman team has been involved thereafter! Definitely using them again for future purchases & I'd recommend them to anyone who is on the hunt in Chicago. š
