“I cannot recommend the Northwestern Specialists for Women more highly. My experience with this practice ranges from baseline care (annual well woman visit) to fertility / trying to conceive, to pregnancy and postpartum. At every step and in every situation I have felt extremely well cared for. Everyone at the practice between providers, MAs, admin staff are incredibly personable and professional. An excellent experience all around.“

“Very good doctors, it's just that sometimes the assistants are in a bad mood that they don't even respond to your greeting, maybe it's stress from the whole day or a bad experience with a patient.“

“I would like to start by saying I don't have enough good things to say about the staff. Dr. Kistner has supported me through both my pregnancies, and has been amazing each time. I greatly appreciate her candor, while still making me feel like I have ownership of my own care. I truly felt like a partner in making my medical decisions rather than just another faceless patient. The nurses, reception staff, and lab staff have all been incredible as well. As someone who isn't a needle lover, the lab staff makes the whole experience painless (no pun intended).

My only drawback would be the scheduling. We didn't experience this issue with my first pregnancy, but with my second I had to reschedule almost every one of my appointments making keeping our calendar organized a bit of a challenge. It also put me slightly off schedule, so that my appointment didn't necessarily line up with my current week of pregnancy. I can't imagine scheduling that far in advance is easy, but if there were any way to cut back on that it would have been great.

That said, even the scheduling hiccups aren't enough to deter me from recommending this office. If you're new to the city or looking for a change, would highly recommend this team!“
