I've seen Molly for massage therapy for years. Since massage isn't possible for a while (#stayathome), I scheduled my first distant reiki session. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the session ended exactly as I'd hoped: Feeling a greater sense of peace and more grounded than I have since our collective daily upheaval began. Definitely time (and money) well spent.
Receiving a Distant Reiki session with Molly was exactly what my heart, body, and mind needed during these stressful & uncertain times that the Covid-19 pandemic brings. It was the perfect self-care activity I could engage in from home while also supporting a local business that I would otherwise have gone to in-person. I can easily say the Remote Reiki session was no different, in terms of the effect and results, as it is in person. I also really appreciated the end of session conversation with Molly and sharing notes and observations. I felt really held in love and cared for in a time when I and the world needs all the love we can get! Thank you, Molly!
This review is for Sarah Brennan - who's a team member at Molly Coeling/Therapeutic Massage and Reiki (which is located in Andersonville). Sarah has a keen sense of connecting to areas of my body that relate to my emotional state. She helps me find a place of centering and calming - while together we work to reset my body's knowing of safety and security. When my anxiety is at it's highest, one of my known resets is connecting to my breath. During really stressful or highly emotional times, I find myself rushing around and almost feel like I'm forgetting to breathe. The breathing I am doing when I am under stress is far from experiencing the deep, calming breath that comes easily when I'm in session with her. The relief that I feel... it's a shift that happens when I allow myself to surrender and accept through Reiki. This care is an act of self-love. Sarah's started using some visualization techniques during our sessions that help me connect my mind to familiar places of calm, ease and happiness.
