I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Backhaus. I have been seeing Dr. B for a number of years and he has always delivered quality care. I recently suffered a painful pinch nerve on my left side with pain resonating down my left arm including numb fingers. Dr. Backhaus immediately was able to create a treatment plan to address the pain which included acupuncture. He is the most thoughtful and considerate clinician I have ever encountered. I have been a patient of Dr. Backhaus now for a couple of months since my recent move to Chicago. I was drawn to this specific Chiropractic office due to their public support of the LGBTQIA+ community! As a queer man, I've felt so supported during a challenging move and transition to this city. Dr. Backaus has been so kind as my schedule has been chaotic and has made me feel so comfortable, safe, and connected more to the city. I love getting time with him for my adjustments, physical therapy, and also acupuncture. I'd highly recommend setting up an appointment with him if you're in the market for a Chicago chiropractor!
