We cannot say enough good things about Aaron! We came to MIHTD for a few lessons for our first wedding dance. We wanted to be confident and Aaron helped us achieve that goal. He was so incredibly patient with us and made sure we understood every move and why we were doing it. He made lessons both informative and fun, we really enjoyed ourselves and the lessons turned into date nights for us. Not once were we intimidated or discouraged, Aaron made sure of that! We even got videos to watch at home to help us with practice. We cannot recommend Aaron and MIHTD enough!!

I've heard about Chicago's dance history and I was looking forward to learning more about it. For me in particular, it was the hustle scene. It may not be as big as bigger cities (LA, NY) but I'm glad they had one. Here was my experience here.AMBIANCE:It's in more of a suburban area of Chicago. Relatively close (15 minutes) away from the airport and from downtown. The place itself is on the 2nd floor of a building. It seems like a pretty historic brick building with a spacious layout. It's not a bad place. It's fun.Mostly older crowds, which is ok. 40+ at socials.Few leads in the advanced class I attended, but more leads at socials (not pros). Most leads either sit or leave early. Yes you rotate. but many are beginners. Many teachers are female not male. They need to hire a male instructor.Price is good 15 to get in but more if staying for 7pm lesson. No refreshments usually! You can bring your own. Price is right.They don't advertise may be the issue
