Great company; we highly recommend them! Lara's Power Wash was a referral by a friend to us. Frederick is great. He listens to what you need, helped us with a color match to update our fence and new posts so the color coordinated well. Did a fabulous power wash before applying the stain. Really great team and wonderful job. We will definitely call Lara's in the future when we need service.
This is the second year Frederick has come out to wash the large retractable awning we have for our back deck. He is very responsive, arrived on time, and spent significant time getting the awning clean. This is not easy because the deck extends into the yard at a second floor level and the awning extends out the same distance. It sparkled when he was done. I highly recommend Lara's; if they can handle this challenge I'm sure they do great work with all their other services.
Our condo board went through a lot of back-and-forth trying to pick a company. We finally settled on this one, judging from reasonable pricing, other reviews and impressive response time. The team showed up the day of and got right to work. They (mainly Frederick) explained their progress as they went along. Although I was far less sympathetic with owners who chose not to move their cars knowing full well that they were warned a month beforehand and all week (signs in lobby and on doors), unlike our prior power washers, Lara's Power Wash comes equipped. They had car covers to make sure those who didn't move their cars would not get stain/seal or dirt damage. (I, honestly, still am irritated by those who chose not to move their cars, minus the one on all flats. I fully understand that one. I was fully relieved when 95% of the deck furniture and belongings were all removed before we got here, so they didn't have to deal with too much of that.) I like that the team came with color wheels, covers and all the supplies they needed. (They always seemed to be short on Caution tape, but luckily, we bought some the year before so they used ours.) Still, they were easy to work with, prepared, polite, focused and friendly. They have plenty to say about salt ruining decks in the winter, too. (We promise we'll find alternatives.) I'd easily hire them again, if I'm still on the board by the time we need to get it done again. Also, although they were not handymen, they were able to recognize three loose stair bolts and risers that needed to be fastened and fixed that, too. And they got rid of this stubborn grease stain that one of the residents poured over the banister and had stained our sidewalk for six months. Our maintenance tried three times to get it up. Nothing worked. Lara's Power Wash got it though. Kudos! But my absolute FAVORITE part of working with them was that they cleaned up after themselves. I had a helluva time with a prior power washing company leaving all their garbage behind. Lara's Power Wash team cleaned up every single thing they did along the way, including laying down covers, picking up all their buckets (and physically handing over the remainder sealant to me instead of just leaving it outside) and their tools. I love that they were so neat. If you didn't see them here (or the Caution tape) for four days, you'd never know there were about 6-8 guys scrambling around our deck, hammering, spraying and painting away.
