I can't say enough good things about JP Flooring, Johnny and his crew. I met with Johnny in January (2024) to discuss the project details. He gave me a quote for demo and installation (I'd say in the middle range of all the quotes I was able to get) and he helped me pick out the flooring. We had carpet in the bedrooms (which I swear had stuff growing in it, it was so disgusting) and we had poor quality/cheap engineered hardwood in the living areas. JP tore out the carpet and old hardwood and replaced it all with a very good quality engineered hardwood. I went with an engineered hardwood made by Mirage Floors, Carousel finish, wide planks, a pretty thick top layer which means it should last a while and can be refinished a few times, and I love it so much. It looks so amazing and professionally done. JP also installed a cork underlayment for soundproofing, and I think it also evens out the floor and makes it softer/more comfortable to walk on. Every step of the way Johnny was helpful, kind and responsive. I have two condos in the South Loop (in the same building) and our building association can be pretty demanding when it comes to remodeling projects. A lot of paperwork, back and forth, and hoops to jump through. Johnny was cool as a cucumber the whole time, answered the association's questions and we met all the requirements before starting the project. Johnny and I agreed on a start date, he told me how long it would take, and he and his crew totally nailed it. They worked so, so hard. They showed up every day at 7am and worked until 5pm. Johnny said our 3-bedroom condo would take 7 days, and he said our 1-bedroom condo would take 3 days, and that's exactly how long it took. I also have to mention Johnny's brother, Danny, who was just fantastic. He was a big part of the process, too, and he made sure everything was done right. Like Johnny, Danny was so level-headed, kind, and incredibly hard-working. Highly recommend!

We recently purchased a condo with Brazilian cherry floors that weren't in the best shape and in need of refinishing and some light repair work. My brother in law had used JP for refinishing floors in one of his rental buildings and referred us to them. We met Johnny for a quote, which was very reasonable, and he and his team were able to start work within a week. We were debating between a few colors, and he was able to show us samples before we made the final decision. The work was completed on schedule, and working with Johnny was seamless. Most importantly, we couldn't be happier with the final results. The floors turned out exactly how we wanted. Highly recommend JP and Johnny. Oh, and we had some really hard rain while they were working in the condo, and water started coming in via one of our patio windows, which Johnny brought our attention to. We were really grateful to him for letting us know so we could address it. Again, if you're looking for a reliable, professional, qualified flooring company, look no further than JP!

I needed floors replaced and refinished after water damage. Johnny was easy to work with an did an excellent job. He was communicative, flexible and trustworthy. The floors looked incredible after! I would highly recommend!
