Booker is the BEST! I've know him a long time but this was the first time he tattooed me. I had him design a custom piece but based on his unique style, and it blew me away! The design and on-the-spot color and shading decisions came out beyond my expectations. The studio was calm and inviting, clean and organized. Booker was very easy to work with, from scheduling and down payment, to final transaction and aftercare. 10 stars if I could give 'em.

I have received two tattoos from Booker. I always loved his art before he took up tattooing, so it was natural to want some of his work. Both pieces were custom, not flash, and we worked through the designs over multiple iterations. Since I was familiar with his work, it was easy to pull references from other art he had done. If you do custom work with him make sure to still pour through his flash so you can clearly communicate your idea in his visual language. This made negotiating the design easier on both of us. Working with Booker for my 2 tattoos was a fantastic experience! He captured what I wanted perfectly, was very chill during the session, and is a great person to talk with while being poked and prodded. Caroline and her client were also fun to talk to, and Frank the Dog made my day.
