Took my Aussie Shepherd Margot there for the "Puppy Head Start" class. It was a great opportunity to socialize Margot with other dogs her age - as well as other people. She learned some basic skills - and I learned the concept of positive reinforcement training and how to use it with her.. The instructors - Nancy and Emma - were terrific. Have already signed up for the next level class and looking forward to it.

Just finished Puppy Grade School with our Standard Poodle Puppy and wanted to rave about the wonderful trainers! Led by Nancy Paolucci and Katie Moody, the program was an amazing way to socialize and continue training our new dog. Their patience was reassuring and encouraging each week. I am so glad that my dog and I took the training class offered at the Pooch Hotel. Being a first-time dog owner and not having been in a boarding facility before, at first I found the smell and the sounds of yelping dogs to be a bit off-putting. But the smells and sounds did not bother my dog (in fact he made his own contributions ;) and the class proceeded smoothly. By the fourth class, the once overly excited dogs were calm with eyes-on Paulette, which was amazing to see. Paulette taught the owners as well as the dogs, and we all came away with new and important skills such as sit, leave it, drop it, recall, etc. Because masks are required, it was sometimes hard to... read full review
