“I just had my tooth extracted today because it was causing an infection in my mouth. I was really worried about it going into the dentist today because I have had a lot of pain in the past at other dentist offices. Dr. Meera was the one that extracted my tooth. She did a really great job giving me the numbing anesthesia. The shots hurt a LOT less than I thought it would. My mouth was very numb. When it came time to pull out my tooth I didn't feel it at all. Dr. Meera also had to give me sutures which I also did not feel at all. She and Ana walked through the procedures I needed to take to maintain and clean my "flipper" (fake tooth that I had to wear until my mouth healed and they can put a permanent plug and crown.) Dr. The procedure was a lot faster than I thought it would be. The flipper looks great and you can't really tell I had my tooth pulled. Dr. Meera is very personal and did a great job with explaining what was going to happen. Something else that was great at Sunshine Family Dental was Amelia, the medical billing and office assistant painstakingly figured out how much this was all going to cost me with my medical insurance. She also gave me a copy of the the paperwork. I looked it over it was very complicated. I really appreciate Amelia figuring this out and doing all that work. Sunshine Family Dental is a really great place. What an awesome team!“
