He runs a real animal hospital. If you want a no frills just great care this is the place to bring your pets. A true vetinarian,very skilled and knowledgeable. His staff, Ms. Karen and a newcomer Nurse are both very nice and also great animal handlers. Able to do as much as possible to help and assist Dr.Gill and pet owners. “We recently went to the Barker Shop in Willowbrook for the first time! Our Golden Retriever had never been truly groomed before and she turned out great! The groomer, (I believe Brena was her name), was extremely friendly, did an excellent job, and did exactly what we asked her to do! Our pup came out looking great and was the softest ever!!“

“I had the most chaotic day picking up my sister’s sweet dog from O’Hare after he’d shipped home on an international flight. He was totally traumatized and totally needed a bath before we headed home, and I’m so glad this was nearby! I don’t have a dog myself, and have never had to bathe a dog on my own, so it was clear I wasn’t super experienced with the process. I believe it was the owner who came over and helped me through every step of the dog wash process. He helped sweet Finn boy feel safe and walked me through getting him as clean as can be! throughout the assessment the team conducted to ensure she’d be a good fit, they included her interaction when being introduced to the pack and how she behaved when was sectioned off from play. The team even has motivational Monday (a little treat,which she loved!) It really gave me the confidence I didn’t realize I needed to trust the wonderful people who run the show.

“House of Paws is amazing. My rescue pup has severe separation anxiety so he needs to go to daycare a few days a week when I need to be in the office. I’m extremely particular about who I leave him with, so finding House of Paws has been a life changer. Liz and Josh are great people who truly care about your pet. When my pup first started going to daycare, he was very nervous and had to be coaxed inside, but now he runs and pulls me towards their front door with excitement. Truly a game changer.“

“I think this is one of the best ideas that I've come across. Kudos to the owner for putting this together. So much Jackson is a self-wash station for your dog you would walk in there are three cleaning areas two for large dogs one for a small dog. You load your dog into the bathtub close the door secure them by the leash then just like a self wash car wash you would choose to turn on the water then if you need to switch it to shampoo or conditioner you just move the dial. I recommend bringing your own dog shampoo and conditioner as well as a towel. So it's $15 for 15 minutes. Quick tip you can use the full 15 minutes and then you get two minutes to disinfect the dog tub for free afterwards. The facility is open to 10:00 p.m. which is amazing. There is a huge parking lot so it's very convenient.“

“Lovely people, excellent service, less expensive than other hoity-toi groomers in Oak Park. I've been going there with my dog Poco for over eight years and have had nothing but a good experience. Be forewarned--they are rightly POPULAR now, so don't think you can get in for a grooming by trying to schedule a week in advance. I typically book the next two upcoming appointments rather than just one so that I'm absolutely sure that the near future, at least, is covered! What's more, after Poco's grooming at Bubbles and Brushes for Paws this past June, I asked them if they'd take a photo--and it's one of my favorite photos EVER of the two of us.
