“Last week was my first time training here, I walked in with an uneasy feeling about going to a new gym. While I was waiting, I walked around the premise to get myself comfortable. The equipment was clean and spread out. there wasn't as much traffic meaning people at the hour I went. I couldn't contain my laughter about how many turtles where in that building lol.As I walked around I finally met Kyle in the back room where he was doing massage therapy on a client. He was very welcoming and showed me around the place. From there I went to the back room to change to get ready for my work out! I signed a liability form to ensure that they are not responsible for any injuries and so on. As I was putting my phone away, I was told to download an app to help keep record of my heart rate while I exercise. NEAT. Also He was so ever kind to let me borrow the apple charger due to my cell phone running low on battery.He made me do a series of upper body work out movements knowing about my past shoulder injury he made sure to go easy. Moving on, I performed the exercises given as he watched my form and recorded the kg used on the white board.The work out was great, he had me do:Facepullsseated cable rowsSome sort of resistant pulley machinea series of 4 different ab work on the vibrational machinechest press machineand to finish off; a core machine and a squat for 2 min on the power pad.ab“

“If you're thinking about getting back surgery, pay a visit to Kim at Perseverance Pilates first. I started having back issue in May 2020, and met with 5 Physical Therapists, 2 chiropractors, 3 orthopedic surgeons and received a variety of evaluations, x-rays, MRIs and steroid injections over that time, with little improvement. One ortho even recommended "minimally invasive" surgery, that included fusion of the L4/L5 vertebra and screws and pins. I came upon Perseverance Pilates through a Google search, as I continued to look for solution and better treatment options. I've been going to Perseverance for about a few months now and my back has improved significantly. Kim has helped me build strength and mobility, and I've been able to resume workouts and business/personal travel without fear of having my back spasm up. She does a great job of listening and evaluating, then crafting a plan to address your physical limitations.“

“Burke Fitness, formerly Fitness Masters at this location is great studio for private work out sessions. I am a novice and I found the idea of gym trainers or even going to the gym intimidating. The studio has all the equipment needed to get in shape. I work with Sarah. The sessions are reasonably priced (another intimating part about working with a gym) and she provides diet plans and looks out for my overall health. I have a couple of metabolic issues and thought I'd be a difficult client to work with, but Sarah was already knowledgeable about what my disorders entailed and has catered to me like no other trainer would. I've never repeated a routine and she has hit muscle groups I never knew existed. I set a 3 month goal, but Sarah helped me accomplish it in 2; I now have new goals and wouldn't train anywhere else.“

“My wife has PLS, a rare form of ALS, and while awful, in her case, not the horrible death sentence that ALS is. With insurance, PT and OT will only be covered for a short time, then you are screwed. Neurobalance works with you financially and their therapists look at things neurologically. They have a lot going on there as well, yoga, golf, boxing, etc.Everyone there is also kind and friendly. My wife has made some really great strides thanks to Neurobalance.“
