There is no hiding behind the results as everything is measured on the machines you use so you can see your results from one session to the next. Having that feedback while lifting/pushing/pulling the weights is extremely motivating. Also the technology used on the machines allows you to just inch up the weights each time vs. in a gym where many times you need to move in increments of 5lbs which can be too big of a jump so you never can increase the weights you are using. With the Excercise Coach machines you can slowly increase the weight and continue to get stronger.
The coaches are also excellent and keep you motivated and in good form.“

I’ve gone to a lot of gyms over the years & I’ve never been to one where the owners remember everyone’s names and greet us every time! As a matter of fact, I can’t recall a single gym where I even met the business owners ?♀️
It truly feels like a tight loving family community, and the social aspect of the group classes is really nice. Especially since I didn’t know many people in the area when I moved here, I felt welcomed immediately. The 1 person I did already know from the area when I first moved to the north shore, also loves WIN athletic club and more specifically the Gruner’s. Such a fun coincidence.
I started working out here after taking a long hiatus from the gym (pregnancy + 1st time mom!). I was extremely weak & slow & uncoordinated with little to no core strength and the trainers never made me feel bad about not being as in shape as the other people in the class. Every coach whose class I took offered appropriate modifications, encouragement to stick with it, and just a really positive vibe. I have always loved HIIT classes and I appreciate the variety and different format each of the instructors bring to their classes.
Now after a few months of coming I am in better shape, I’ve lost more of my baby weight and starting to get more muscle definition, I feel more energy, and I can actually keep up with the classes! I’m excited to keep getting stronger. I feel my confidence is higher since having a baby and not feeling like myself in my own skin for a long time postpartum.
The last thing I should mention is the kids club. The child care is top notch. My son never wants to leave when we come here! On days I don’t work out, he’ll be eating breakfast and tells me he wants to go to the gym today! The staff is so loving and so good with him, it puts my mind at ease to know he is having fun playing while I take some time for myself to workout and shower/get ready for work.
If you are looking for a good workout, with childcare you can trust, and a gym that feels more like your neighborhood “Cheers” bar (but a lot healthier ?) look no further, this is the spot for you.“

But from our first phone conversation, I knew she understood who I was and what I needed, which gave me the confidence to take the first steps to becoming stronger and aging differently. Most amazing is the way Coach T takes such good care of us, inside and outside of the gym. The good doctor provides specific 'workouts' to help your body improve itself. He has a huge pool of knowledge that will get you back in the gym pain free in no time. I personally started seeing improvements after a session or two. I will likely do these exercises forever. I would recommend this establishment to anyone living in the area. The doc has never not answered a question I threw at him“

I would use heat, ice, massage, stretch, you name it and relief was only temporary. I just accepted that every month, I would just deal with 3 day headache, not fun. Then, I happened to be talking to a client at work one day and they spoke so highly of how muscle activation helped them with their hip issue when all else had failed them. I was intrigued because it sounded so different from everything I've tried in the past, so I gave it a try. I consulted with Steve over the phone and based on my history he thought muscle activation could work. We started weekly sessions for 6 weeks, but already half way through, I noticed I didn't have the neck and shoulder aches and pains I typically had that would turn into an awful headache for days. “I wish I had found GhFitlab earlier than I did. Due to MS, my muscles were getting stiff and I started to lose feeling and significant movement in my left leg. Through an individualized program created by Marcin that focuses on different muscle groups, I have regained feeling and strength on my left side. My mobility and balance has also improved. Also during my journey, I had rotator cuff surgery. Marcin was in charge of my rehab and it was seamless.
