Cute little salon in downtown Aurora at Downer and Lake St that does eyebrow threading, they use thread to remove hair and shape eyebrows. They don't seem to have a website, but you can call to make an appointment or walk in. The lady was very detailed and thorough. She didn't speak much English, but she was very sweet, and did excellent work. I would go again.

I visited this place for the first time as a walk-in on a weekday early afternoon in June & again today. opted for a 90-minute combo massage & it was satisfying! The combo massage included a foot soak, salt & hot stone treatment, but you need to let your therapist know if you want the latter, otherwise, you'll get more time with just back massage. If you'd like a detox foot soak, it's available for an additional $5. The massage style & technique leaned towards reflexology & stretching, which is typical of Asian massages. Lisa's massage pressure is consistent throughout the 90min, no downtime! The sheets/pillows were fresh & clean, the massage table was firm yet comfortable. The place is clean & quiet. Background music is soft relaxing & calm. Remember to tip your massage therapist, especially if you're satisfied with the service!
Natalia is very responsive and personally does great work. She doesn't just hand the work off to someone else. She does the measurements herself and personally texts when your clothes are ready.

Lily Flowers does a really good job at a fair price, flowers are always fresh and beautiful and I have always had good luck with them, I like they are a family florist old fashioned reliable, and consistent. Great quality and artful presentation and I would highly recommend them.

Angelina is such an amazing stylist, she did my wedding hair and my bridesmaids as well and is so talented. She is fast and efficient while being artistic and creating beautiful styles. I got my nails done almost a week ago. Whitney did them and it was my first time going here and first time Gel X. She promised me they would hold up and how much I would love them. They didn’t hurt or anything.. plus I’ve been in my pool for the last 4 days prior to bowling. Everything still intact! Whitney has a new forever client. Michel’s crew repiped our water line from the street with copper to bypass the old lead line. They accomplished this with minimal disturbance by using their auger drill from across the street guided with ground reading sensors. They mapped it out and brought the line up from under the basement floor without damaging the 1850’s limestone foundation and then repaired the floor. The old utilities were, shall we say, from another time. They are efficient and experienced with their guidance system. We recommend them highly and without reservations as they are adept at the old skills and the new technology.
My hot water heater was originally installed in 2001 and finally started to rust out. I wanted the same brand, Bradford White, as it lasted so long and American made and most other areas plumbers installed what was in stock. I found Plumb it through Bradford White's service finder and within minutes of filling out a quote request online I was called to confirm my type and size and given a reasonable price for the tank, installation and removal of the existing, and they scheduled for the next morning. Plumb it showed up on time. The brought everything in an out with ease and left no mess. The new tank was in and operational in less than 2 hours from arriving. I will use for my future needs.

Had a wonderful experience with the three gentlemen that cleaned my carpets. My dog had explosive diarrhea and they were able to come out the very next day. They were all very nice and professional and did a phenomenal job! They were even able to get out stains that were over 2 years old!

Great experience and professional work. My husband passed away and I have been struggling to do basic house work. Molly Maids has been great. The first cleaning is a super deep clean. Then from there on, it's more of a maintenance clean. They do move things to dust which I appreciate. Plus, if you need more or something special you can reach out to the service to see what they can provide and additional costs. They have weekly, every fortnight, every 3 weeks, or just 1x a month options. I am currently using their service and plan to continue at least until things are a little better....and who knows maybe longer.

Santiago went with me to pick out the material and supplies needed and even picked up the things for me. True professionals. Terminex came out, indicated that we had a termite problem, and proposed a $2700 year long contract. Brian took a look and understood immediately that it was not termites but carpenter ants [he demonstrated this by similar damage on a nearby tree]. He said it was an old colony and we had no problem and no charge! If you want to work with honest folk and avoid scams or fraud [e.g., Terminex] try pest arrest in Aurora! thank you.

I called Bryan's company just a few days ago, about some scratching sounds we were hearing in our attic/ceiling at nights. Freaked us out! He came within 2 hours, and on time! Went up in the attic. Did a detailed thorough examination. Found no evidence of critters (aliens?) up there. He thinks probably a bird was trying to get in from the outside, (but failed miserably and repeatedly). Unlike three other companies I called, (who had a fee for just coming out,) Bryan did not charge me for the visit, since there was nothing to remedy. Fantastic! We asked Rocky to come out and do some landscaping to replace 2 trees we had to get removed in a recent storm. He was so helpful from the beginning! He provided suggestions for nurseries to choose our plants and trees, and asked us to let him know when everything would be delivered. He came the day after the trees and bushes were delivered and worked all day to complete the job to our satisfaction. I love that he would pull us aside throughout the day to check in and be sure they were doing everything according to our wishes. At the end of the day, he even did some weeding for us! We didn't ask him to do it, he just saw that it was needed and did it! I plan to use him again next year for more landscaping work. I HIGHLY recommend this company to do high quality work for you!
We had a boarder sidewalk project done by our driveway a week ago. Miguel and staff was very professional and nice. Also Miguel was helpful in choosing a color scheme for us. They did an excellent job and we are very well satisfied.
Juan and Percy and the crew worked hard on our large project. We took out our whole lawn, re-sodded the whole thing, did a yard cleanup, mulched and rearranged a stone path. We began using Andres Lawn Salon in early 2023. Since then, we could not be more pleased with their services. They consistently arrive at our home each week on the same day and same time. Andre, his son, and the rest of the crew do great work in taking care of our lawn and landscape beds. Andre is highly focused on the quality of the services they provide, and in paying attention to the details within those services. If I have any questions, concerns, or special requests regarding the care of our lawn and landscape beds, Andre has always gone above and beyond in fulfilling my requests. He always responds timely to my phone calls, texts, or emails. This means a lot. We’re treated as a valued & respected customer, not a problem. It is a rare occurrence that Andre himself doesn’t answer the phone. If I get his voicemail, I’ll receive his call back in short order. He also quickly responds to my text messages or emails as well. These are some points that lawn care companies we’ve used in the past were poor at. I foresee us using Andres Lawn Salon for years to come. No more having to change lawn care companies every year or two due to unsatisfactory work or poor communications. In my opinion, having good, efficient, and timely communications with any service contractor, is the single most important factor to having a successful, long term, relationship with that contractor. A.N Tree Service did an excellent job of removing a very large Elm Tree extending over two homes. The crew worked carefully to ensure nothing was damaged during the drop. Then afterwards, their clean-up efforts were great. The two roofs, yards, and drives were nearly spotless.
The entire crew was also very friendly and eager to meet our expectations. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Plus, their bid was very reasonable at about half as much as three other estimates. My wife and I highly recommend A.N Tree Service.
My husband and I were very impressed with Manny and his team. We had a 35ft elm tree and a 15ft pear tree removed by them. They also did some trimming for a few pine trees and brush clean up all on the same visit. They were very fast, took just over 4 hours for everything, and did a great job with clean up. They were extremely professional, responsive and gave a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them again and will recommend to anyone in our area.
We have used Evergreen Tree Service several times in the past . Had them come out to trim up a tree in our front yard that suffered some damage from the recent storms. He does not just run through his routine as I feel so many massage and physical therapists do. While this experience was relaxing, it was not a massage. Juan was intentional to address the areas that I need help with.

I was in Chicago and booked a few lymphatic drainage sessions with Auredika. She is the best massage therapist I've ever had. She is so skilled and knowledgable about post-operative care and scar care. With a very gentle but firm touch, she was able to make a significant difference in my swelling and soreness. Within a few minutes on her table, I could feel myself relaxing and left her place feeling very limber and was able to walk with ease and no discomfort. I had my first experience with sunshine at the Aurora farmers market last year with a 15 minute chair massage that I quickly booked a full 90 minute session the following week because it was so good. I have been a monthly member for over a year and having been a member to quite a few other local places over the last 10 years, I must say, Emily hands down always gets my back and shoulders fixed up. Here, you actually get the full time, not the hour minus 10 minutes that you change and wait which is a huge plus that time doesn't start until your massage starts. I highly recommend!

I visited this place for the first time as a walk-in on a weekday early afternoon in June & again today. opted for a 90-minute combo massage & it was satisfying! The combo massage included a foot soak, salt & hot stone treatment, but you need to let your therapist know if you want the latter, otherwise, you'll get more time with just back massage. If you'd like a detox foot soak, it's available for an additional $5. The massage style & technique leaned towards reflexology & stretching, which is typical of Asian massages. Lisa's massage pressure is consistent throughout the 90min, no downtime! The sheets/pillows were fresh & clean, the massage table was firm yet comfortable. The place is clean & quiet. Background music is soft relaxing & calm. Remember to tip your massage therapist, especially if you're satisfied with the service!

I've been coming here for years for a full body massage (like knowing what song is coming next on the musak loop kind of long term). Here's everything you need to know.
Most importantly, to have a good experience here, communicate with the person checking you in about what you want and don't want. The people giving the massages usually don't speak a lot of English. So anything other than "OK", "too hard", "no thank you" may not be understood. Or use a translator app (Mandarin) on your phone.
If you bought a Groupon, you may not get the same level of service as if you paid cash. They probably get 50% less for Groupons and the point is to make you want to become a paying customer. Remember to tip as if you paid the full price.
Third, this is not a national chain massage place. Unless you ask for something else, you are going to get a "hard" massage which will include their elbows, forearms, and maybe walking or squatting on your back. It's full contact. You'll also get hot stones for free. If you want something milder, your best bet is to tell the person out front (see above). If you pay for a 60 minute massage, you should get 60 minutes of massage, not 50 like at the chain places.
Also, compared to the chains, every part of you will be massaged including your glutes. They will be uncovered at some point and the draping will be fairly casual. They are not going to be constantly shifting and tucking blankets to make sure parts of you are never seen. If that makes you uncomfortable, maybe keep some of your clothes on. And if it really makes you uncomfortable, tell the person out front.
But if you like a Shiatsu style of massage, this place is great. If you find someone you like, call or, better yet, text ahead to request them. Same day is usually fine.
The only knock is that, as others have said, the place is a little musty.
Lastly, I've been to about 10 other Chinese-run massage places in the area. Almost every one of them has eventually propositioned me for something beyond a massage. This has never happened at JP in dozens and dozens of massages.

She is a friendly health care professional. Gathered lots of medical data points by extensively asking questions.
I went for the knees pain because of OA.
Today I see some improvement in pain (after a session of acupuncture) and her suggestion to switch from cold based compress to heat based compress on the knees is also helping.
The office personnel is also very friendly.
Anyone looking for an acupuncture alternative should give Anjalee a serious consideration. I would recommend her without hesitation.
Was recommended Dr. Fu by a couple friends for my lower back pain and shoulder pain from years of competitive swimming and the results were phenomenal, the following morning next my back pain was virtually gone and my shoulder had made significant progress. She is incredibly flexible with her schedule and is super nice. 10/10 would recommend.
