Dr. Caldwell was so kind and compassionate, and explained everything thoroughly before fixing my pup's luxating patella. I appreciated so much that he opts for the conservative route whenever he can. My dog did not make the healing process easy on anyone, and Dr. Caldwell was there to answer every single question I had and help with aftercare. A very special shout out to Mel, Mike and Kelly for being absolutely wonderful anytime I had to call in with questions, concerns, and refills. While I hope my dog never needs surgery again, I can rest easy knowing that Dr. Caldwell and Staff are there and he will receive the best care in the Treasure Valley!“

“I've been a loyal fan of NW Animal and Ewing Animal Clinic since 2019. Prior to that I had tried out two other clinics who had either rude receptionists or incompetent, new young vets. I had 3 labs, ranging in age from 5 to 13. Dr Wethered is a bit quirky with humans, but really understands the needs of dogs. He instantly recognized my choc lab had severe anxiety and would benefit from Prozac, which he's on now and really has helped; he successfully administered laser surgery to my lab who was treated before with surgical methods that didn't work at a different clinic for canine papilloma virus; he diagnosed and did successful surgery on bladder stones for my elderly yellow lab; my choc lab had surgery by Dr Keller in an emergency situation for eating a bone that wouldn't pass on a Friday evening....she stayed late doing the surgery and came in later that evening to check him and early in the AM again to check him...he recovered great! Dr Wethered and team sent me a beautiful bouquet after they learned I had to put down my yellow lab. Dr W does a lot of research and stays abreast with the latest findings. Again, he's quirky with people but great at treating animals. The staff is always friendly and their hours of operation best in town.“

I had not even thought to leave my number, and the woman who answered the phone... asked me for the phone asked me to leave my number in case. “I cannot say enough about North Boise Vet, Dr Frost and his staff. My dog Millie had not been eating and had signs of blood in her stool for a couple of weeks and it was only getting worse. I took her in and the staff were so gentle and kind. Dr Frost came in and examined her, listened to what I had to say and gave me a run down on what they were going to do. They needed to keep her in order to complete her testing and x-rays and they kept me up to date on what they were finding. Unfortunately they discovered a tumor on her spleen, we discussed the options but the only viable route was to see she had a comfortable send off. They were truly compassionate through out this whole ordeal, they let me sit with Millie for as long as I wanted before saying good-bye and let me continue to pet her and see me to the end. All I can say is Thank you.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Ewing Animal Hospital. We have utilized services by both Dr. Wethered & Dr. Lieske for various reasons across the years (annual check-ups, spays, tumor removal, blood panels, kidney failure, multiple day hospitalizations, etc.). There is no such thing as a dumb question and I have never felt like I was rushed through an appointment or like communication was lacking like some other reviews state. They do a really great job at trying to accommodate any of your scheduling needs. Both vets also work out of another location so if their schedule at Ewing does not fit your availability or needs, they do a great job at coordinating with the other location to ensure your pet is able to be seen. The staff ranging from their awesome veterinarians, vet techs to their front reception team show that they actually care which really helps during those spooky hospital stays because you can trust that your pet is in good hands (and receives love and attention during their stay). That portion was HUGE for me. I knew my pets were not just hanging out alone in their kennel. Visits were allowed and each staff member we came in contact with had a million things to say and chatted about the time they were spending with them. I could not recommend them enough.“

“I'm new to Idaho and was in need of a vet. I chose Critter Clinic due to location. I had a great experience with my Yorkie who needed teeth removed and cleaned. She had great care. The vet even called me that night and the day after to check on her. I haven't ever had a vet call me personally, so I really appreciated it. Staff seemed nice, too. It's hard to turn your fur-babies over to just anybody, so I was grateful for the care she received.“

“Thank you to Companions Animal Hospital, Dr Powell and all their caring and compassionate staff. I took our new Old English Bulldog puppy in a few months ago to establish care. 2.5 months later he became sick with gastrointestinal problems. Seemed like he would have the problems at home…diarrhea, lethargy, etc…. He would get to the Vet and would seem better. Over a period of time with their patience and fortitude the issue was found and he is on the mend. I am so grateful that they didn’t give up and that all their time and tests were affordable. I was kept informed and they were very patient with me and my multiple phone calls as I was nervous. “Dr. German and her staff are amazing. I have been taking my cat, Opal, to Animal Health Hospital since 2019. They have always been great and make sure that I know what is going on with my cats health. They are great with Opal and she never seems to get upset about going to the vets. They are very accommodating and was able to get Opal into see Dr. German on short notice and when told that Opal needed another dental appointment they were able to schedule her to get in a few days later. Dr. German even called me after office hours to let me know the results of blood work done. Thank you for all you do for my sweet little Opal.“
