My old computer bit the dust after many years of service. I took it to Larry, who diagnosed it quickly, telling me the motherboard was no longer working. He had some rebuilt computers in his garage, but I wanted to keep my old, slow, hard drive, and so Larry swapped it out, downloading scores of drivers and updates for the old Windows 7 system. His price was more than reasonable, given the extra effort he made, and the computer has been working well for the past 3 months. He is experienced, knowledgeable, and patient about explaining the problems and options for repair or replacement. He is customer-oriented, asking what the computer is used for and providing the most economical solution to meet the need. I am sure he could build a powerful gaming computer if that is what the customer wants. I just needed something to get the job done, and that is what I got!

Bought a laptop Larry had listed on craigslist. Went to look at it, he told and showed me the specs. He didn't try to hide anything about it. It was an older model business laptop with good for the time, good enough for me specs. The price was good, I even asked if it came with the charger because it seemed on the low side. If you know what you're looking for my experience was "what you see is what you get", kind of a rarity these days. If you don't know what you need I would feel comfortable taking his advice based on the interaction I had. Larry checked my Lenovo Yoga when it stopped charging and diagnosed it as a broken motherboard. He was very responsive and up front about the options I had going forward and went out of his way to talk to other contacts about repair possibilities, replacements, etc.When I told him it was my primary means of studying he offered to lend me a laptop to study in the week leading up to my MCAT. He's a great guy and very honest. You probably won't find a better service for the same price.
