“This shop is a hidden gem. It can be a bit hard to find due to the location. Its tucked in by massage envy and the post office. I love going here, I am always getting my toes done and my nails. For pedicure they use disposable tools and liners to keep everything sanitized. My toes are clean and painted and my heels are soft and smooth. For my nails sometimes I do dip powdered and other times I request for GelX. They last me 4 weeks!! The ladies here also do designs and I'm here for it! Everything I leave the salon I am always satisfied“

Kim and Lily run a tight ship, so no matter which technician works on your nails, if you get them done at Gradient Nail, you'll get compliments before you even walk out the door! Which is not to say that I don't have my favorites, of course. Jenny has been my nail girl for years now, but my manicure styles never get old, as she is always getting me to agree to try new polishes and techniques, which I end up loving. And whether it's Gel X nails or hard gel, Jenny always knows how much of what I need to provide my naturally thin, brittle nails with the support they need to last 'til my next appointment. To top it all off, she's a great conversationalist. Sometimes, the conversation is her making fun of me, sometimes vice versa, sometimes both -- always a good time. Run, don't walk, to Gradient Nail -- oh, but make an appointment first, especially if you want to see Jenny, as they are often completely booked. Once you visit, you'll understand why!“

“Eric was absolutely excellent! So calm and reassuring when discussing options for my hair after I had an absolutely chaotic morning. He was able to fit in extra hair treatment services in our appointment time and his background in lomi lomi was obvious - the pre-cut shampooing session was like a mini spa healing treatment in itself! Super happy with my hair and with the salon overall. Bonus feature was I was able to book an eyebrow wax appt online at the same time via their online scheduling tool. Angela was great and I didn’t break out in hives afterward like I normally do for an hour or so after other wax places. Highly recommend this place!“

No nails lifting or breaking in between services and still received compliments on nails right up before my next scheduled appointment! I prefer polish only and no designs or embellishments, but I know they do offer designs and the woman before me was real happy with hers! I will definitely continue booking with Honolulu Nails!!! “This place is a one stop shop for beauty and relaxation. The best part is its near my home. No need to drive to town to get great service. Lara does my hair. She is always patient and very flexible. She makes my hair look and feel fabulous. I have gotten a massage here by kasumi. By far the best massage I have ever gotten. I plan on getting many many more. I don't do my nails often but when I do I have come here as well. They never disappoint. My daughter has gotten her eyebrows waxed by kalei and she was in love with the outcome. “I made a reservation so I could go on the day I arrived in Honolulu. I arrived a little earlier than scheduled, so I contacted them, and since they had free time, they responded immediately.
There were so many types of samples that I was confused! I had a broken nail, but they repaired it carefully and I didn't have to be afraid to walk in sandals, which was great!
All of the staff members were Japanese, so it was easy to talk to them via email beforehand, and I had a great time listening to some local stories at the store.
I got my nails done locally, bought some sandals, and went for a walk. The purpose of has come true. Even after returning home, I look at my feet and grin (￣▽￣;)

“I got a pedicure from Momo-ka, she was super sweet and gentle. She is very kind. Fun conversation and great at doing nails! I paid 77 for gel and a touch up of dip on 2 nails and an extension on one. Clean and good service despite a slight language barrier. Heads up the location was a little difficult to find, it’s inside of a building hidden behind stairs but definitely worth it.“
