Nails were rushed and there was minimal prep (e.g. nail shaping, buffing, cuticles). As a caveat: I was dealing with bad traffic coming into Waikiki so I was 15 mins late, I texted the nail tech to let her know and she acknowledged it. After coming in, the nail tech quickly shaped my nails and started painting, she was finished in 25 mins skipping a lot of parts that normally come with a manicure. While I was late, my appointment was for an hour and 15 mins - there was still a 1 hour time to do a proper manicure. Highly recommend and will go back next year when I'm in town. My Japanese gel has been on for 2.5 weeks and it's still perfectly intact. The only reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is because of the heat spikes when curing under the UV. I've never gotten Japanese gel before, but it was pretty painful each time my hands went under the UV light, which I don't think is normal. I've had normal gel before and never experienced that. It only took an hour to remove the dip I had on previously and get the gel.
