“Dr. Dean Yoshimoto is AMAZING!!!My mom has been suffering from extreme knee pain for some time now, and even seeing a sports medicine doctor and physical therapists back at home in Chicago, nothing was working - the pain was still there, if not more so, and there was never a clear answer or a treatment plan that was offered by any of the specialists.Here comes Dr. Yoshimoto, who literally decreased my mom's knee pain by 90% after 1 visit. Yes, you heard that right - 90%!!! He was extremely patient, kind, and really broke it down in terms of pinpointing what exactly was going on, what treatment was needed, and what exercises to do at home. He was so shocked and was left speechless that my mom was dealing with inept individuals all this time - clowns, I tell you! Unbelievable.You can tell that Dr. Yoshimoto genuinely cares for each of his patients. He's not the typical physical therapist who gives you some stretches to do, hooks you up to a muscle stimulating machine, and/or gives you a head pad and calls it a day. He actually tries to target the source of pain!I am so grateful that I was able to find him for my mom, and I was actually kind of serious when I told her that maybe she should consider moving to HI permanently, just for him. “I had a separation in the labrum of my hip. I initially went to a different PT who told me he couldn’t do anything to help me. I felt pretty helpless but my doctor referred me to Shawna and she was great. It’s been about a month since I was discharged from PT and I am almost back to my normal/full range of motion with no pain and no surgery!“

At the end of each session, she downloads the exercises, prints the pictures for me with the explanation and makes sure I understand the target points we are working on to get me better! She is patient, thorough and always is positive ! We end each session with a positive outlook to the next with a bright, beautiful smile from my smart, patient physical therapist!“
“Excellent service and care at Laulima PT in Kapolei.Nicole DPT, is experienced, professional and caring.Herniated discs, sciatica and arthritis had me in pain. My sessions at Laulima PT with Nicole DPT, have reduced my pain significantly, helped relax the muscles in my back and legs, reduced my sciatica pain, helped me with stretching, and given me confidence through education on exercises, postures and postioning.I leave every session with a reduction of pain, confident I've learned something new, relaxed by Nicole's calm, professional demeanor and happy I made the decision to give physical therapy a try. “This place is wonderful. Becky M. has been with me on my recovery from a rotator cuff surgery and I was scared and in pain and she made this such a positive and relaxing experience. I'm not terrified to go in I actually look forward to it. She's very supportive and patient and she makes recovery easier. I love this place. The entire environment is so pleasant. The front desk staff and everyone. But Becky is truly great and I'm grateful for her being apart of my recovery team 10/10 would recommend.“

“I’m a bit late writing this review as I concluded PT in July of 2022 but here it is! I had Mike and Kamalei as my PT’s after my ACL surgery and they were honestly the best people I could’ve asked for. The first few months were really hard but they were incredibly supportive and that made the process so much easier. I was always excited to go to my appointments because the entire staff was so warm and welcoming, which made me comfortable despite my injury. By the time I was cleared, I felt like I had made a little family there. Highly highly recommend. :)“
“Business is located at Imperial Plaza 2nd floor on right of it is Fong Eyecare Vision Center which I go to. I was referred here from my friend who works at this company. My doctor's office made a request to do my physical therapy. My physical therapist Harvey did an evaluation on what I needed to work on in terms of exercises to help with my neck and shoulder. 2 physical therapy assistants looks in my file to know what exercises that I need. There is a machine which pt assistant set up so it can massage my neck for 20 minutes and heating pad under my back. While I am doing my exercises, they are helping at least 2 other people with their exercises. After I am done with my exercise, Harvey massages my neck and back. HMSA will only allow me 10 physical therapy sessions. At last session, physical therapist will do his evaluation.“

I recommend Lilian and Donna for massage and Khuna for Thai massage they’ll really find your soar spot and you can feel the relief after. Like everybody else’s review, they really treat you like Ohana (: Ate Alma is superb! She always try to accommodate everyone. I wish I can rate them 100!“

“I wanted to write a 2021 review for Dr. Collins. My previous chiropractor moved so I was looking for someone to take care of my back. Dr. Collins was recommended, I gave him a try. Earlier in the summer, he worked on me for a few weeks and I was back to my old self. Now with the south surf season ending I'll need to prep for winter surf so I'll be going back for a reajustment. “I have been going to chiropractors for over seven years and because of frequent moves due to my occupation, have been to nine different chiropractors across the country. I started going to Dr. Noghrey about six months ago and he, by far, provides the best and most comprehensive care of any of them. Not only is Dr. Noghrey's neck, back, and spine care second to none, but he also corrected a 20-year long chronic pain issue I had with my shoulder that multiple physical therapy sessions over the years were only able to temporarily relieve, but not correct. Since he adjusted my shoulder four months ago, I have not had any pain in it and have regained full mobility and strength. Most remarkable to me, though, has been the adjustments he made to my knee. My knee has been injured multiple times over the years and one surgery and many, many physical therapy sessions left me with a pain that I thought I would have to deal with for the rest of my life. Reluctantly, I allowed him to adjust it and quite astonishingly when I got off the table the pain was gone. I was truly amazed, as I had no idea at that time that chiropractic care could be used on the knees. Progressively after each weekly adjustment, my knee continues to heal, so much so that I have recently been able to start running again with no pain.Dr. Noghrey is the most patient, knowledgeable chiropractor I have experienced and will continue to use him for my care as long as my job allows me to live on Oahu. I unequivocally recommend him as the first choice to take care of anyone's chiropractic needs, whether their issue is with the back, neck, shoulder, knee, ankle, jaw (he fixed my wife's TMD issue, which the orthodontist prescribed mouthpiece did not do - but that is for another review).“

“I’ve been coming here 2-3 time per week since the end of May/early June of 2023 following a surgery on my shoulder. This was the third surgery on that shoulder, and I was pretty skeptical of the help I would receive due to some negative experiences at previous locations I had done my physical therapy as well as the daunting news from my surgeon that the operation will likely fail to hold the repair. It didn’t take me any more than a few sessions to believe that I was in good hands here.Every staff member I have encountered has been friendly, professional, and it is clear that they enjoy working with each other. Of the staff members there (as of December 2023), I have had the most exposure to Chelsea. I feel as though I lucked out with having her conduct many of my treatments because along with the clear knowledge she has within this field, she has also made my recovery plan feel as though it has been a collaborative process with my end-goal physicality which makes for a treatment plan that feels tailored to my needs. She has met me with a high level of professionalism and friendliness every time I come in as well as ensuring that the intensity of the day’s exercises matches my fluctuating pain levels.I still have a long ways to go with my recovery, but I am confident that I will make a better-than-expected recovery as I am in much less pain, much more flexible, and much stronger than my previous recoveries, and in a much smaller time frame too. Overall, I am beyond pleased with my experience here, and I would recommend this place to anybody.“
“I was introduced to him by a friend because of the after-effects of a car accident and because my job requires a lot of physical exertion and I often fly, so I decided to give him chiropractic and massage treatment for the first time, and he was very helpful. I am. I've never been good at massages, but I was surprised to find myself falling asleep during a massage for the first time. In particular, Ms. Love, who always gives me massages, can only be described as having the "hands of God."Everyone at the clinic is very nice, and I am very grateful to them for taking care of me and my son. “Amazing Doctors that put your health and well being above anything else. They take the time to sit down and discuss with you everything you need to know about your condition if you're there for an injury and go above and beyond to make sure they address any questions or concerns you may have. Plus studying Dr. Nowiki's artwork is nice way to pass the time while in the lobby. But you may want to snap a photo of it because typically the wait period is no longer than 5 minutes.“
