“I loved Dr Shaun's predecessors and am so happy he was the one chosen to take over next. My accts were transferred seamlessly (our entire family comes here) previous and he helps keep my body in tip top shape. As an athlete, having a chiro in your arsenal is important and Shaun is strong and knowledgeable. Office is still located in the bodg behind the Kahala Aloha Gas station. 2 parking stalls are avail for the office located in the back of the bldg with other guest stalls in the front. Hes got a 2nd location. Highly recommend!“

He takes X-rays so he can show you the exact problem. He walks you through the pricing and helps you with a payment plan if needed. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want to spend the money and not have it work but I’m telling you Dr.Luke gave me my quality of life back!!! At first, I was super nervous and skeptical about the whole idea, However, after our on phone consultation about the specific problem I was having, he then proceeded to plan out a treatment that would help with that. Overall my experience was top notch as he was super knowledgeable and very understanding providing the best treatment possible. “I kept having numbness and tingling in my right arm for the past 4 years. . . been to other chiropractors, PT, massage etc. and nothing seemed to help. Thought I'd try Awakuni as my friend and her family see him, and so glad I did! Doc took x-rays and pointed out the issues in my neck causing the problem. I was given stretches to do at home and a treatment plan. 6 months later, here I am with little to no issues with the numbness. It does flare up occasionally, and when it does, a trip to see Doc Awakuni straightens it right up. I have to add, I appreciate the affordability of his treatments as well. His office staff works with you to set up affordable options (pay all at once, or half up front/half later, or pay as you go) and will give you the form to send to your insurance to get reimbursed. This place is a well oiled machine, once you are established as a patient, you are in and out the door in 15-20 mins.“

Fear not, times have changed, and it seems as though Oda Ohana has taken the feedback left by others to heart. My Groupon deal was great, the people I spoke with on the phone to make an appointment were friendly, I was called to be given a reminder for my appointment, and everyone was friendly when I came in. I read about the parking drama, so I parked at Ala Moana and walked over. It was a pleasant walk, about 5 minutes or so. The massage was wonderful - thank you, Kammie! My only other feedback is that it was very, very cold inside, which made it hard to relax. Other than that, I had a great experience. Also, they're located on the 13th floor now, not the 4th, like other people mentioned in their reviews.“

“I've been seeing Dr. Sara since last summer for my chronic eczema that I've suffered from since birth and she’s been a tremendous support on my healing journey.In Hawaii, we are experiencing a shortage of doctors due to the high cost of living in Hawaii and many various reasons.
