The mental health department does not care about veterans and constantly sets me up with interns who can't help a veteran like me with a hundred percent disability and diagnosed with P.T.S.D. I have severe insomnia, and their mental health department consistently just has interns, who don't know what they're doing, practice on me instead of giving me a doctor who knows what they're doing. I fought for and defended my country and have nothing to show for it but years of pain, insomnia, depression, no kids, can't find and keep a relationship, and overall no help from a institution that says they care about their veterans in countless commercials and ads that say they do.

For eligible veterans; scheduling may be onerous due to national call center and parking very limited and constrained at Tripler Hosoital. Service and amenable setting very much appreciated for years of military service in Vietnam war

They need to update to a call back system because I was waiting to reschedule an appt for an hour, and when the RECEPTIONIST answered, she acted like she could not hear me, proceeded to stay quiet and do who knows what while I hear people chattering in the background, without trying to communicate with the customer or possibly call back. (I know you see my number on CALLER ID) Since you probably sit on your butt anyway answering phones, at least try to get through to me, somehow, as a customer. All that to reschedule an appt for my client....I would probably think twice on ever having a client who has to go to Tripler, if this is the type of l ordeal we have to go through to get an appt or reschedule, That is ridiculous Tripler. I called back and a man answered so quickly and could HEAR me right away. What a shocker!! Must not be my phone that was wrong. Ps. Sorry to be sooo RUDE but I was waiting on the phone for an hour, so I was pretty pissed knowing I had to wait again* luckily, someone answered right away.
