I had a surgical procedure done 6 days ago at Kaiser Moanaloa. I wanted to express my deep gratitude to Vincent the nurse who took care of me with compassion and patience in the recovery department. His kindness and professionalism made me so happy that I have Kaiser as my health care provider and he made me proud working for Kaiser knowing other patients will experience his compassionate care right after a surgery.
I've had a bronchoscopy 2 days ago at Kaiser Moanalua, the procedure went smoothly & Dr. Davis is so knowledgeable & he did great job that I had no pain in my throat after the procedure. I'm glad he was assigned to be my new pulmonologist. That's why I prefer to those new doctors from the mainland, they're more skilled, detail oriented & professional compared to local grown doctors, it's sad but the truth. Vincent was a nurse who took care of me after I woke up from twilight sedative, he was one of the kindest & best nurse I've ever met in Hawaii compared to dozens of nurses in many different hospitals in last 27 years. Kaiser is lucky to have a person like him who really cares his patients with the level of patient care in Japan. He made me feel like I was in Japan where patients/customers are treated super well. (As a matter of fact he told me that his grandpa from Japan.) Kaiser has both great doctors/nurses & not so great doctors/nurses, but this time I was lucky & everyone was efficient, professional & no one made mistakes unlike Kaiser Mapunapuna. I wanted to take the time out to personally thank everyone in labor and delivery for making my first birth experience, a great one. I am so proud to say that Ka'ili guided me to deliver my baby safely. Her care to me was EVERYTHING. Without her, it wouldn't have been possible. She truly made my birth experience one to remember. She kept me calm, and relaxed. She reminded me that I could do this. She was always positive and so patient with me. I cry every time I say her name. Thank you Ka'ili. Kaiser, please hang on to her forever. She's truly amazing.
