Last week a heat pump failed early Wednesday morning. The heat pump was installed 23 years ago. We've had the same Malone tech serving our units for over 20 years and if not for his attention that unit would likely have needed replacement years earlier. When Chris told us it was time for a new unit we had every confidence in his judgement, particularly when our research indicated most heat pumps have an expected lifespan of 15 years.
