I cannot say enough great things about Green Heel Shoe Repair! I didn't even need my shoes repaired, but I cold-called this place after trying six other businesses that either didn't answer, had disconnected numbers, or were outright rude. I run a small local business specializing in custom apparel and promotional products. Recently, I landed a very big client with a large order. The order sounded straightforward, so I took it on. However, I quickly realized I needed a specialized commercial sewing machine, typically used by shoe repair professionals. When the machine arrived, there were no instructions, no online guides, and no "how-to" videos available. After struggling to figure it out on my own, I reached out to six different businesses for help until I found Green Heel Shoe Repair. I explained my predicament to the owner, and he immediately offered to help. He asked me to send him a picture of the machine, and in return, he made and sent me a step-by-step instructional video on how to use it. Even after watching the video, I was still struggling, so I asked if I could bring the machine to his shop and pay him to teach me. He graciously agreed. When I arrived at his shop, he spent one to two hours of his busy day walking me through everything I needed to know. Not only is this man incredibly knowledgeable, but his shop was bustling with activity, and yet he remained warm, friendly, and patient. At the end of it all, I asked him how much I owed him for his time and expertise. His response floored me: "Nothing." When I pressed him, he shared an inspiring story. Years ago, when he was a young man, he walked into a shoe repair shop needing the same kind of help. A kind Mexican man had taught him everything he needed to know, and he had never forgotten that kindness. Now, he "pays it forward." In today's crazy, chaotic world, we need more people like him. Green Heel Shoe Repair is a gem--not just for their craft but for the kindness, generosity, and humanity they bring to their work. Repaired my favorite pair of knee high boots with entirely new soles AND polished them to a high shine within a week. Great workmanship and customer service. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I was only in Atlanta for the weekend and damaged the heel of my boots coming from the airport. I found this shoe repair on Yelp. It was only 15 minutes from my hotel so I went to see if I could get my shoes repaired. The owner guided me directly to the location even when my GPS sent me off! He was patient, knowledgeable and honest. He fixed my shoes in 5 minutes and I was off to enjoy my day! Great service! Great craftsmanship! I wish you were in my home state. We need more cobblers with your skills, professionalism and personality! Five stars!
