“I was very hesitant to place my newly turned 3 year old in kararte because of his age. But at my surprise I am overly satisfied with the program!! There are several age groups in the Monday and Wednesday class and I was skeptical about his attention span. However, the instructors, Sensei’s and Master were determined to satisfy my curiosity and doubts by dividing the large class into two groups! (This gives the more skilled children time to develop(such as yellow, green and orange stripe) while the new students are working on the fundamentals ; the white belts ) Each employed or volunteer individual takes an interest in all children and encourages growth. This is an awesome place to be for your child/children who is/are interested in martial arts, karate, and life skills for all ages, races, cultures, religions and disabilities (aka special abilities ). My son started at 3 years old and has developed better self discipline, better listening skills, better muscle development, better self control and overall learning to become a better little human.Sending my son, here was one of the best decisions I have made for him as he becomes a young man and develops into a man. I highly recommend any parents send their children to New Traditional Mixed Martial Arts. I am excited for the future and expansion of this program and they have my full support!❤️ ?!!!!!!!!Update Update!!!!!!! 9/23My son is now 4 going on 5. I have noticed him becoming much stronger and dedicated to doing his techniques correctly. All the instructors/ Sensei’s teach differently but all are encouraging and all want the children to learn. Next, we have been doing private lessons with Sensei Shawn for sometime now and although he is only 4 he aims to please and enjoys his time with Sensei Shawn! He is very patient yet tough on him as he is learning while gaining confidence.********New New New********I most recently attended a kick boxing class held by Sensei Shawn and it was great!! I am paying for the workout today ???!! But, it was a no judgment zone and fun to do. Sensei Shawn was motivating , was encouraging and was patient. I will be attending the next class for sure! Hope to see you there.Thank you to all the staff: Professor Murray, Martine, Sensei Jay, Sensei Quest, Sensei Bo, and special shout to Ms. Anne❤️“
