“Oh my goodness I am so thankful for this veterinary clinic!!! We got a rescue puppy about a month ago and came for a general wellness appointment, establish care and get any recommendations for food or things to be aware of with a new puppy etc. Dr. Mavis and the techs were super sweet and patient with all of our questions. We were so impressed with our experience. Later, we did a grooming visit—fantastic and quick! He came back happy and great review from Dana the groomer. Today, we came in as a work-in emergency visit for our puppy vomiting a lot over the last 18 hours. Dr. Macy saw our dog and laid out a great plan to figure out what was going on. We had to leave him there while they did bloodwork and x-rays—ultimately he ingested two toys (under supervision of the daycare program). They were able to give him meds to help him no longer have those toys in his system and gave us clear instructions for aftercare. Everyone treated this as an emergency and treated our dog so well. We are so thankful to have wonderful vet! Thank you to all the sweet staff that has shown us great care, we appreciate you all!!“

“I just want to give the biggest THANK YOU to the groomer, JayeCee. I came in, knowing that given the change in season that my German Shepherd, Scout, would need a de-shed and a bath - the amount of hair is crazy! JayeCee proposed as well that she could give Scout a “breed cut” which I didn’t even think my GSD needed grooming. BOY WAS I WRONG! I was so HAPPY with the way that my boy came back to me! His ears and chest were cleaned up, the “pantaloons” or back of his legs were so neat!! And she gave him the cutest rainbow bandana! 10/10 recommend her if you are in the area!“

“Was the only vet I went to, until I moved, and took my dog to a local vet in my new area. Woods animal clinic mad me assume that all veterinarians were great, and not to expensive. I paid $600 dollars more than I usually would have just for yearly shots, and they coudnt even explain what all they did.“

“I brought my girlfriend’s dog in yesterday morning and really just had a phenomenal experience with each of the staff members I interacted with. From Karen, the receptionist, to Dr. Adams, and the other staff members who I interacted with and didn’t get the names of, everybody was so accommodating and helpful towards me.

Dr. Adams explained everything she told me regarding Honey, the dog, multiple times so that I could relay the information back to my girlfriend while she was at work. Dr. Adams also offered to write up a detailed email breaking down the whole visit to send to her. Karen was very helpful to me as well, offering cleaning supplies to bring out to my car after Homey had an unfortunate accident on the way over. The vet tech was also very kind, although I never got her name.

The staff was also very understanding of our budget, and did everything in their power to limit the amount of money we spent on this visit, which is much appreciated! Thank you to everybody at Ivy Hill Animal Hospital for your amazing work and customer service yesterday!“

“Dr. Wood and her team are the best! They treat your pets like they are their own. Dr. Wood takes the time to understand your fur babies and doesn't push un-necessary tests, shots or medicine. She always considers what is best for our animals. We have been with her, Kyle and Natasha for many, many years and we would never consider going anywhere else!“
