“I called Visionaire to address a window leaking over a bay window and needing replacement. They focused on the problem, never tried to upsell a full house of windows and expedited the purchase. Cole (sales) came by, then Darren came by to review leak issue, then final measurement, and then install. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and overall it was a good experience.“
“On January 28,, 2023 Atlanta Area Windows and Doors installed ******* Pro-Tech vinyl windows. We just received our gas bill for the first full month after the window installation and it is $75 less than the previous months bill. Also, during the month of February we also switched from an electric stove to a gas stove so that added to our gas usage and we still saved $75 the very first month. Our electric bill was also a good bit lower. It will be interesting to see our electricity savings this summer when the a/c is on.When you compare the ***** therms per day prior to the new windows being installed to ***** therms per day after, you can see that we are now using less than half the gas therms, even with now cooking with gas instead of electric.Even with this savings, it will still take many years to recoup the cost of the window purchase BUT the comfort of not having a drafty house is also a huge benefit to my family. The other thing that we have noticed is that the road noise is significantly less. We live on a four lane divided highway with lots of traffic. Other than the loudest mufflers and big trucks we no longer hear the majority of the traffic unless the roads are wet and even then it is subdued from the previous level with single pane windows. The team at Atlanta Area Windows and Door were great from **** to **** to the installers. It was a seamless operation. I would highly recommend their company.“
“I am very satisfied with FDR's work on my four-season sunroom.
I have engaged a few leading sunroom builders in the Atlanta area and have accidentally come across the FDR company profile and contacted Rick, their GM. I was a bit skeptical engaging FDR initially as they don't seem very prominent in sunroom builders, as per my Google search. My concerns were soon dispelled after a few conversations with Rick. I found that he was honest and trustworthy. They offered a quote that was 20% lower than the nearest competitor. Within a month they built a quality four-season sunroom. Additionally, he handled some additional expenses to build the concrete footing that was not built properly by my home builder.
I recommend Rick and FDR to anyone looking to build a sunroom or install glass windows. They are very responsive and provide value for money.“
“Scott was a pleasure to do business with on new windows for the whole house. Fair price and great service. Any concerns were covered quickly and professionally. I would recommend Zen Windows Atlanta. They go above and beyond.UPDATE:I installed Zen Windows 8 years ago. Two years I broke some parts on the window accidentally and they came out and repaired them at no cost. Last year I had a window washer snap part of the outside surrounding while taking out a screen. Zen Windows came out and replaced the entire window under warranty. Recently, I had a second story window end up cracking in a corner with the house still settling. Alex and Sandro came out today and did a fantastic job replacing the glass. All under warranty. This company has been nothing buy accommodating and the price I paid was very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone buying replacement windows. I did the entire house.Service: Vinyl window installation & replacement“
“I am extremely pleased with Monster Exteriors and its owner, Kody B. I live in a very small (630 square feet) condominium. I was pretty sure that given the distance, traffic, and his robust schedule, he would decline such a small job as mine which was to repair my front door which was not fitting, closing, or locking properly. Kody booked my appointment right away, clearly concerned, and arrived exactly on time. Not only did he fix the door (turned out that the hinges just needed adjusting), but also explained that purchasing a new door would have been extremely expensive and probably impossible to find given the outdated dimensions and high-quality solidness of the existing door. He replaced the weather stripping and installed a new sweep onto the bottom of the door to keep a secure seal. I can already tell that my thermostat is working far less than it used to due to the improvements Kody made. He estimated that I will probably see a $10.00 per month on my utility bills. While Kody was here, I asked him if he would be interested in my hiring him to replace two bifold latticed hall closet doors which no longer fit after I replaced my carpet with vertically higher hardwood floors. I hired three contractors, each of which inspected and declined the job saying that it was an impossible task due to the standard, builder-grade closet door length not fitting. All three suggested that I should hang a curtain in lieu of a door. Kody looked over the frame and floor height and did several measurements to figure out how the problem could be solved. He said that there were doors that he could customize to fit the space. Kody picked them up, sanded them to fit, applied them with 4 coats of paint that perfectly match the existing paint in my home, and carefully installed them. They glide beautifully and look so much better than the building-grade lattice doors I had before, each of which never closed properly. The new doors are solid, sliding doors. The design of the doors perfectly match my kitchen cabinetry doors. For the door installers, it was all about the doors not fitting. For Kody, it was thinking about making the doors fit. P.S. ~ Kody is very tall. Just as he was leaving, I randomly told him that I had a bug that fell from the attic into my bathroom fan light that was impossible for me (5'2") to reach under any circumstance, even with a step stool. Every morning it was the first thing I saw when getting ready for work (ugh). I asked Kody as he was leaving if he could remove it. He reached up, removed the plastic cover, flushed the bug, and replaced the cover. Fewer than 30 seconds. He looked at me, smiled and said "Done!". That's Kody.“
