“My wife and I had Jeff Clair from Chief Inspection Services complete a pre-close inspection on our new construction home (Volusia County, FL) in October 2023 and we would HIGHLY recommend his services! Jeff is incredibly detailed and thorough, an absolute wealth of knowledge, and truly leaves no stone unturned while inspecting your home. Jeff caught a handful of code violations, numerous “common sense” issues (not code violations per se, but head-scratcher issues that needed resolution), and many incomplete items across the home/property. Among other issues, Jeff quickly identified issues with the trusses in our attic, both the dryer vent and hood/range vent exhaust systems, the electrical system at the dishwasher and garbage disposal, an irrigation zone not working as expected, a plumbing issue in the master bathroom and much more.
