He quoted a very fair price, completed the work in the timeframe that we needed, was honest about delays due to an unusual amount of rainfall, and did quality work. He and his team did quality work, prepped the site appropriately for efficiency and safety, and cleaned up completely. “When the insurance company told me I needed a new roof, I got six quotes from recommended and well reviewed companies. After hearing from a friend that got hit with a $3,000 extra charge for wood replacement, I wanted a quote that was out the door. Sander and Son was the only one that would commit to a total price including all wood replacement up front. Even with that, and the extra charge for adding the third nail to the hurricane clips, they were still very competitive with the other quotes. Using their own crew, they did the roof in sections and there have been no leaks. Another thing that I liked was that their 10 year warranty included issues with both the shingles and workmanship. I found Sunshine Roofing of West Coast on my neighborhood FB page(3:4 neighbors recommended them). Lucky for me, they had a opening for that afternoon. The owner came out, and informed me that other than the tree branch damage my roof is in great condition. He said he tarred it and said not to worry about payment. WOW.

So fast forward to the big name company 2 weeks later. I was curious as to what they would have to say, and honestly doubting that Sunshine really went up there and patched my roof for free. I told them that my husband went up and patched it. The guy at the big name company asked if my husband wanted a job. He said we did a great job patching it, and not to worry about it leaking again any time soon. August 2024: Just had Drew Roofing repair a new leak in my roof. On the Friday before Tropical Storm Debbie hit about 4 cups of water dripped through my living room ceiling. I emailed them photos of the leak and they had a crew out Monday morning to patch the roof. No leaks after TS Debbie dumped 10" of rain! Drew Roofing is a very competent and customer-oriented company.“
