“Long review but worth every sentiment. I have a cavalier king Charles spaniel named Regulus who is 5 months. Who is the friendliest puppers ever! He came out of his groom with Kim so happy and tail high! Not timid and shaking like, unfortunatley his previous groom was. Which to me personally says alot. Kim was very precise with Regulus's trim and was very ready to just hold and be with Regulus from the get go. I immediately felt completely at ease. Good parking and easy to get to. Fair pricing. The place is clean, tidy and Comfortable. It's easy to tell by Kim's attitude and how things are run that great care has been taken in running their business. No wonder they're book up! They even have little drawers with your pets name on it to keep your pups stuff in you can pick up when the session is over instead of leaving it in the car or carrying it around downtown. Very thoughtful. On Picking him up I never thought I'd be so happy about how my puppies paws look! The nails, the pads and the hair around are so perfect. I keep catching myself looking at them. I'm am continuously pleased by the the things I noticed through out the day about Kim's work. Plus Regulus SMELLS SO GOOD and his coat is SO SOFT. You know that commercial for Downey soft were the fluffy bear snuggles the blanket and you think " aaww man I want in on that softness!" Yeah, that kinda soft. He's practically a Show dog at this point! Lol Already book his next session. See you soon!“

“It was Smokey's visit. He looks soooo cute!! Most places the groomer take Smokey's lease and immediately take him back to be groomed. But the groomer offered a cookie. Smokey was nervous so he picked up Smokey and loved on Smokey until he relaxed. When I picked up Smokey he looked great plus was happy. Also the place was very clean. I was extremely pleased with the service and care of my sweet dog.“

“They are miracle workers over there (and at great prices too). I have a standard doodle that has a straight fear reaction to getting groomed, they were able to get him done, where others refused to even try (and without heavy sedatives although next time thats in the cards but they even worked with me because my vet would only prescribe Sileo).“

“I recently had my dog groomed at 2 Divas by Alicia, my dog is not the easiest or nicest for grooming an has been turned away by 3 other local shops,but Alicia still welcomed us and was super sweet to Gus,I don’t know how she did it but for the first time in a year my dog was not only able to be fully groomed but he was happy at pick up and not stressed like he has been in the past she even was able to cut his nails. “The new owner of Southpaw is not only a great groomer but also very understanding and compassionate. My grandmother has dementia and when my grandfather passed their dogs fell into the background, and the result was needing a groom- BADLY. Covered in matts, very very dirty, and couldn’t see through the hair growth on their faces. I explained how badly they were in need of a groom and she scheduled ASAP for me to bring them in. She was very understanding and kind about their condition, didn’t make us feel embarrassed or uncomfortable, and the end result was two very old crusty and dirty dogs getting comfort grooms - as they were truly uncomfortable before - while still managing to come out of it looking “cute”. We’re very happy with the service and although we will NEVER wait this long to bring them in for a groom again… we will be back to Southpaw Spa. Thanks Hope!“

“If you need to have your Four-legged family member groomed, this is the place to go, definitely ask for Casey. My dog Gus, is 17. Casey was most concerned that Gus felt loved and that he had no anxiety. She would give him little breaks when she felt they were necessary. Gus has many warty, looking moles on his legs, as he has aged. Casey was so gentle Grooming Gus. Also, too, Gus has become a little crotchety in his old age, But he had no problem, letting Casey handle and groom him. Gus has arthritis in his joints and in his back, And still, Gus allowed Casey to do her magic. “I have been going to A Pets Place for 3 years for both of my dogs. Dr. Dan and his wife and staff are great. I had to put my 16 year old rat terrier down and they had her cremated. When I received her ashes is was very nicely done with a urn I picked out with her name on it in a blue velvet bag, a touching card from his staff with the imprint of her foot. This was so touching.
