Best experience ever! Denise was super patient and kind with our group, she made us all feel comfortable and it was an amazing time doing private aerial yoga. I organized this for my bachelorette and my bridesmaids loved it, we will def be back for some relaxation
Denise is a wonderful massage therapist! I haven't trusted many people, as I have several herniated disks in my back. She has been so attentive, she is able to feel around in order to feel where the nerve is pinched without me telling her. It is incredible what a difference it has made in my life. I was experiencing sciatica one day; Denise is an expert at "cupping." This is an ancient holistic approach to heal; she used the cups on my back and within a week (2 back to back sessions, 1 week apart) it was gone! It's absolutely amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend Denise to anyone who is struggling with back, neck, hip or leg pain. She is so considerate, gentle, and super fun to talk with as she has been such a knowledgeable expert/ friend in my life. Just needed to share because two massages saved me from getting another surgery and heading back to the doctors... She's pretty special!
Aerial yoga was new to me last year, and I entered with lots of curiosity, and a good dose of caution. Denise was extremely thoughtful in the instruction she provided, and soon I was swinging in a delightful silken cocoon above the floor. Those of you who have used a rope wall in yoga, aerial is similar in that you are very supported in a pose, but the hammock of aerial provides not only great support, but also more freedom of movement. Instead of being held by the wall, the hammock is suspended from the ceiling. Going upside down is effortless, and you are securely tucked in by the hammock so you feel safe. It allows a less flexible person like me, to experience a more relaxed entry into the pose, and to feel a greater depth in the pose. Give it a try. And Denise and Karla at Yoga Moves are wonderful guides on your new journey.
