Was referred here and within a few visits all of my shoulder pain and issues had resolved and they provided really practical exercises and therapy to perform at home that have helped to keep any issues at bay. “I had knee surgery last Feb 5 and after 3 months of rehab therapy I felt that my recovery was not fast enough and continued to have pain. I knew Lio from playing soccer and I had heard great things about his professionalism and knowledge and decided to go see him. If I would have gone from the start I think I would be playing soccer already! What a difference in only 1 month of working with Lio. He prepared a thorough and complete recovery plan (including videos and personal notes) and the improvement has been drastic, with very little pain. I feel stronger and have gained my confidence back that eventually I will be able to play again. He is very detailed in his explanations of the exercises, the goal behind each one, what muscles needed to be worked on, and just a great knowledge of the required exercises and movements. If an exercise was more painful, he adjusted on the go and that made feel very secure about the path we were taking. He was always encouraging, and I felt that I was treated as a person and not just another patient. The facilities were complete with lots of machines, weights, bands, and all that’s needed for a full recovery and exercise plan. I am very thankful for Lio’s services and I strongly recommend him to anyone that needs a prompt recovery.“

“Dr. Ukpai is amazing! I had an athlete heading into his senior season suffer an hamstring injury that would surely destroy his confidence. Dr.Ukpai not only helped him recover but also taught him maintenance drills and how to strengthen the area in order to prevent injury in the future. She turned a bad situation into a learning opportunity and made our program a little bit better with ever single session.
