I've been a client at Actify for almost 3 years now, and I can say with confidence that Dr. Perretto and her practice have changed my life for the better. Dr. Perretto is a walking encyclopedia regarding all things hEDS which is beyond amazing when you're new to a life-altering diagnosis. She has helped me with everything from figuring out which brand of compression clothing to purchase to setting me up with hEDS-knowledgeable doctors/surgeons. Part of what makes her so special is that she is able to approach her clients' situations with an enormous amount of empathy as she herself has hEDS. Even though I don't see her for my actual physical therapy, she has been an invaluable resource for me. I see Dr. Pulcheri, Actify's longest-tenured physical therapist, for my weekly sessions and she is equally as incredible. Dr. Pulcheri is so skilled at her work and I completely trust her with my body. Throughout our time together, she has been in charge of rehab for my 1 shoulder + 6 hip surgeries as well as standard physical therapy for the rest of my unstable joints, and I couldn't be happier with the progress I've made under her care. “We had a wonderful experience at Physical Therapy Now of West Boca. My daughter required physical therapy and we worked mainly with Omari, Gabe, and Sean. They were all excellent at their jobs, kind to my daughter, and easy to talk to. They helped her strengthen her areas of weakness to deal with a diagnosis that will, unfortunately, last a few years. Lisa, at the front desk, is beyond fabulous. She greets everyone with a smile at the door. It was easy to schedule appointments and change appointments when needed. Her kindness shines through. “I strongly recommend Dr. Luskin as a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon. Dr. Luskin diagnosed that I needed Carpal Tunnel surgery on both wrists. He was amazing and did the operations flawlessly and my recovery was complete and very fast. The numbness in my fingers and loss of muscle tone in my thumb has begun to regenerate and my hands feel better then they have been in years. My hands no longer "go to sleep" when I am riding my bike. Tam Tran is the Physician Assistant who took care of all of the follow-up appointments. She is VERY DETAILED ORIENTED and answered all of my questions and fully explained the exercises that were required for a complete recovery. She showed pictures of the inside of my wrist from the operation. She took her time and did a very complete follow-up exam each time.
