As we entered Joan's shop we heard her beautiful voice filling her space with song and praise. She gave us a warm welcome, took my mother by the hand and began the process of alterations for my mother's wedding pant suit and rehersal dinner dress. Joan sensed my mother needed some extra care and never skipped a beat in her time and attention to my mother's needs. We ended our first visit at "Alterations by Joan" with a hug and a prayer, and two pieces of chocolate for the road! If every business operated like Joan's our world would be a better place!“
