“Since writing the first review about My Electrical Genie, I am even more impressed with Marvin! As we keep buying and using electricity-dependent products, we keep calling his company. Throughout the years, Marvin's done a lotta work to help beautify our house. His work holds up and he is always earnest in giving us his all. On our property SO FAR, he's: Bathrooms - made outlets for an electric kitty litter box, Toto washlet bidets and powered window coverings Dining room - made outlets for the tv, powered window coverings and electronics Kitchen - replaced overhead lights and light switch Office - replaced ceiling fan, installed ceiling lights on a ceiling that had none, made outlets and helped us handle the wires better Laundry room - removed the ballast lighting and installed a ceiling fixture Backyard - installed outdoor outlets with covers, security cameras, and a pool light controller House exterior - installed outdoor outlets with covers, security cameras, and garage sconces where there were none and to the exact height of the sconces by the doorway I can't share anything about my husband's secret lair or our Gomez-and-Morticia-themed playroom - mostly because they don't exist - but if they did, you know who we'd trust to improve the space! Sometimes you get lucky and you find a great electrician. I feel that is just what happened to me. I guess I have 2 wishes left.“

We are please to say this company is the real deal! 1.) gfci's not working - fixed 2.) power out in bathroom- fixed 3.) breaker for hot tub - fixed 4.) high hats - fixed 5.) pool light that never worked - fixed 6.) spare refrigerator in garage - fixed I thought it would cost a small fortune in hourly charges but they gave me a price for everything at once. They also gave me the discount of 55 yrs of age or older even though I'm not anywhere near 55. Lol. Great people to work with and awesome customer service. I had a huge punch list and assumed at min. 2 -3 days. They finished in 6 hrs. And didn't stop for anything till tasks were complete and proper troubleshooting was performed. Electrical contractors in south Florida get a bad name but these guys are doing their best one client at a time to change that. Joe and Greg were pros! Natalie that answered the phone was super sweet and very nice. I honestly couldn't be happier with the whole thing. 5 stars all day!!!!! ;) I hope I don't need anything else done electrical wise but if I do I'll be sure to call again. Have a great new year.“
“I was combining two condo units. William and his guys did the elimination of one of these unit’s main electrical pane connection and rewired everything into one new and improved electrical panel. They installed extremely low profile (Apure) ceiling lights. Look and work flawlessly. They rewired kitchen wiring when I changed my mind about a double oven and buying two separate units. They went through every light switch and outlet to make sure I was happy with its location and functionality. They always had my satisfaction at the top of their priorities. I’ll be the first to admit that I was nit the easiest customer in terms knowing exactly what I wanted. William and many in his crew gave me great advice. They cared. This was the second time that this had occurred and a previous electician had been unable to resolve the problem. Yaul fixed it in 15 minutes. He also quickly diagnosed and fixed an issue with the power supply to our tankless water heater. Bates seems a little more expensive than some other firms - but at least in our experience - they were worth every penny.“
