“Initially, I was looking on Angie’s list for recommended lawn teams in my area for a home we just purchased with nothing g but weeds and sand. As always, many choices and many various and mixed reviews.
I had four different businesses reach out and come give an estimate. Victor and his team were slightly higher priced than the number two team I was looking at. However, I saw some of the work they had on their site, and decided to have them give an estimate. Speaking with the sales guy and Victor, I decided to go forward.

I needed a full irrigation system installed along with sod, plants, and curbing. I shared my design with them and they were confident they could do so.

I wasn’t able to be here when the curbing went in and Victor called to discuss options and colors- the communication was much appreciated.

The job was completed in less than a week. Victor was on site most days and at the end of the job to discuss the care and importance of watering and holding off on mowing to allow the roots to take. There were some minor hiccups but we talked about them and agreed to let it be. The estimate forgot to discuss the need for an exterior outlet. It was going to cost X and I thought. that’s too high and Victor attempted to make the price reasonable. We decided to do it ourselves and temporarily used an extension cord. All good and Victor did not try to argue or push, just reminded me the warranty could be affected if anything happened to the system. Four days later, we put the electric box in.

A cut above the rest came out on a regular basis, as promised to fertilize the grass and plant beds. Our 90 day warranty is up and Victor came by one last time to check everything out. I am very pleased with my yard and enjoy it everyday! I would highly recommend A Cut Above the Best!
