The exam is very unique with a hands on person, a telehealth examiner conducting the vision testing, and a telehealth physician to go over test results and answer questions. Donald explained that this system helps a patient has many physicians available during the time of visit instead of waiting for an in-house doctor. New technology allows for more flexibility. I can't wait to try my new prescription :)“

“I will be 57 in March, I had 20/50 vision when I went in. I have been wearing reading glasses for 12 plus years. I went in for a consultation, I was a candidate for Lasik. They told me that I would still have to wear readers for up close & mid range. I had it done. Honestly, it was a little unnerving during the procedure, Had to find my "Happy Place" They cut a flap in your eyes then use a laser to correct the vision. It doesn't hurt, just pressure. They warn you ahead of time what is going to happen. The staff is very friendly. I went back the next day for the follow up appointment. Unbelievable!!! I could see like I did many years ago. It's been 6 days since I had it done and I have not had to wear readers once. Granted, up close, small letters, I will need readers for that. Bu this is amazing!!!!! I can see again!!! I am typing this w/o glasses, something I could not do before. If you are in doubt, get checked to see if you can get it done. It is so worth i it!!!!!! I just wish I would have had it done sooner. Thank you so much to everyone involved, YOU ROCK!!!!“

“I cannot thank Dr. Potochick and the 5 Points Eye team enough for how they handled my eye emergency while I was in Jacksonville from out of town to deal with family medical issues. I received better and more thorough care by Dr. Potochick than I did by my optometrist back home. He not only understood the problem I was having, but explained why it happened and how I can prevent it from happening again. He saw me multiple times over the course of a week to make sure I was responding to treatment and was very patient with me. Dr. Potochick is a very kind person and an amazing doctor. “I really appreciated the time and care they took with me. I arrived to see if I could get some new glasses. I didn't have an appt but they escorted me to the back room to look at a variety of frames and speak with the optomotrist. I found a fantastic pair of frames; then she figured out how my progressives should work and be fitted. She even figured out that my last pair of glasses were slightly off and not helping me in my daily needs. (I'm new to wearing glasses so I thought the readjustments and difficulties were just part of the plight of glass wearers) She explained the fit and placement wasn't right and will correct it on the glasses I'm ordering from her. I can't wait to get my new glasses and appreciate the care.“
