As an example: a number of years ago, I walked into his former office because I had mysteriously lost central vision in one of my eyes. I had to walk to his office because my sight was shaky at best. Within 5 minutes of his examining me, he left the examining room briefly, returned and said, "You are coming with me." He escorted me to his car, drove me to a retinal specialist who returned to his office after hours, and made possible for me to have my eyes thoroughly examined. I was diagnosed with WMD, and Dr. Johnson's quick work saved my sight. The Eyecare Express team is kind and very responsive to requests. We cannot imagine being patients at any other place in Gainesville.“

“This is my 2nd visit to Dr Brad Bangstadt for an eye exam, and I've NEVER had a more thorough eye exam! Dr Bangstadt is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and patient. He made certain that I got the most accurate eyeglass prescription. I also worked with a woman who helped me with frame selection who was ALSO terrific! (I hate that I can't remember her name!). I usually dread choosing frames for myself. It takes me entirely too long to find some that I like. But this wonderful lady asked me a few questions, looked at my coloring, face, and hair and pulled out 3 frames that were all direct hits! (Mic drop). She told me that picking out frames for people was her favorite part of the job. Gainesville is truly fortunate to have Gainesville Opticians and their wonderful staff!!“
