Over the course of seven or eight sessions with Stephen Schachter, I experienced dramatic relief from severe leg pain that had seriously hindered my mobility. The test results (Xray, MRI, EMG) had been negative and shot-in-the-dark treatments had been ineffective, so I got no help from traditional medicine. Since undergoing acupuncture, I'm able to walk long distances again, and my year-and-a-half-long phantom leg pain no longer troubles me. In addition to the effective treatment, my experience with Steve Schachter was highly informative and enjoyable. Also, the office manager, Joy, was invariably agreeable and helpful. My highest recommendation and much appreciation go to Stephen Schachter.

I've been going to Steven Schachter now for four or five visits. It's really convenient because it's on N. 43rd St. just south of the Millhopper Library, where I go. A day or two after my last visit, I felt good enough to go for a long walk. For four years after a heart attack, I didn't feel well enough to walk more than 1000 steps a day. On Christmas day, in one hour, I walked 2300 steps. It was amazing. I believe that Accomplishing this improved my self-esteem, confidence, mental and physical health. He has been in business for 37 years: and he's very kind, patient and educational. I highly recommend him, and I just love his office manager Joy
