I have an elderly cat who needs iv injections. I needed to find a vet that would help me keep my baby comfortable while she finishes out her happy life. Best Friends helped me find many ways to keep her comfy and happy these days. They took care of her like she was their own. It felt really special. I’m so happy I found this place. “Yep this is the one! The owner is so kind that my dog actually likes going! I have a golden retriever/ Pyranese mix and she sheds like crazy. I don’t know how she does it but Lisa gets her all prettied up and saves my furniture from dog hair every time. Highly recommend!“

“I transferred my pet to San Carlos Park animal Hospital and we are very happy. The location is wonderful. The clinic was clean and the staff are warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. steely is wonderful with animals and very knowledgeable. Everyone we encountered from the front office to the veterinary technicians and the doctor and management was very professional and very kind. Their prices are great and they are definitely not charging as much as other places for the same great care. They are considerate and do not try to sell and rack up a high bill! I am surprised to see the bad reviews that some others have written, because I feel that you couldn't ask for more at a better price for animal care. I am very happy that I have switched in that San Carlos Park animal Hospital is now my veterinarian of choice and highly recommend them to others. If you are in need of a veterinary clinic, go here. “My husband took our 18 year old cat , Joey there for a sinus infection. Staff was very attentive and it's close to home . They also have limited Saturday hours. Receptionist was super nice in setting up follow up appointment. Anyone who has cats knows that car rides and vet appointments are traumatic but Best Friends made it just a little bit easier. Then my two young cats hissed at him when he came home because he smelled like the vet's office. A can of food later and they're over it and of course they wanted the goody bag of treats he came home with.“

The medication was twice the cost I would Pay if I was ordering it online, but given it was an emergency situation, she was able to be treated that same day instead of me waiting for a necessary medication delivery in the mail. I think some of the reviewers forget to consider this is an emergency room. and just like human emergency care, it is generally more costly. That said, The cost wasn't horribly bad. I would take my cat there again in a heartbeat if necessary.“

“My granddog Scooby stayed at Pet Paradise Bonita for a few days. My daughter couldn’t make it back in time to pick him up. I nervously offered since he is still a puppy, but strong. The guy working on Sunday was so nice and place him in my car. The place is so clean and welcoming. Good choice for our Scooby ?“
