As we entered Joan's shop we heard her beautiful voice filling her space with song and praise. She gave us a warm welcome, took my mother by the hand and began the process of alterations for my mother's wedding pant suit and rehersal dinner dress. Joan sensed my mother needed some extra care and never skipped a beat in her time and attention to my mother's needs. We ended our first visit at "Alterations by Joan" with a hug and a prayer, and two pieces of chocolate for the road! If every business operated like Joan's our world would be a better place!“

Of course we were last minute and needed to get them done as soon as possible for the wedding(within 10 days). She was super nice, extremely detailed, and made sure we had everything we needed before we left her with a week’s notice… sorry again!She was able to rush the order, worked over the weekend, and get it done in time.
