“Don't know why people are leaving bad reviews here. I'm from NY and my son has a very complicated vision case due to a severe birth prematurity, so regular ophthalmologist/optometrist wouldn't work for us. As we moved to Florida it was a huge challenge for us to find the right dr, and trust me I've done so many researchers and have seen Dr's that couldn't handle our situation until I came across Dr.Segal and his team. I always read reviews, but most people complain about things that are not related to the professionalism and knowledge of the specialists and ruin their reputation with those 1 star stupid complaints. Anyway I decided to see this dr and I made the right decision. First of all I want to thank Cassie, who is a refractionist at Dr Segal's office. She wouldn't let us go for over an hour, because she didn't like the results of my son's vision and she would repeat the testing over and over going thoroughly through each step with my son, asking him different questions the way a kid would understand to get the most accurate answers. She was like a mother to him trying her best to educate him and explain how and what he needs to pay attention to in order to get the right prescription and not to ruin his vision more than it is already. And she still wasn't satisfied and asked us to come back the next morning to start all over, which btw, we weren't charged for. We came the next day and when she was able to get everything right and his vision didn't drop, as we thought it did, she seemed more happy than both of us lol. I personally call that "care" thank you Cassie for not giving up on us and going till the end? you are amazing specialist and a human being. And I can repeat all of this about Dr. Segal, he is a gig in his profession, never had so much information and explanation from a dr about my son's vision problems. Thank you guys for what you do and for your true care about your patients, I'm happy I found this office and now I know that my son is in the right hands.
P.S. people don't judge by complaints regarding "long waiting time" "rude receptionist " etc. We are all human beings and have to give some credit to those who keeps us and our kids safe and healthy ❤️“
